About this deal

Cordless vacuums have become increasingly popular, so it’s no surprise Numatic have a cordless version of the Henry. It has many of the same features as the corded version, but comes with a 36V battery and is one of the few cordless vacs to have a bagged design. The Henry Hoover range is one of the most popular in the UK – and for good reason. Numatic vacuum cleaners are powerful, reliable and often sold for very reasonable prices. If you need a vacuum you can trust, almost any of the Henry range can do a great job (although the best option depends on your personal requirements). Not all HEPA filters are equal, however. Some are simple and use tried and true methods to clear the air, and others are enhanced to trap a variety of particulates. Then the fact that this turns into a handheld with a flexible hose means that you can clean the stairs or your car. All the while enjoying clean, bacteria and particle-free air while you’re at it.

And if you are cleaning up after a pet but can’t afford a more luxury vacuum then this Hoover is a great choice. Plenty of suction power and you’ve got a crevice tool, furniture tool and a pet hair tool to deep clean into every single nook and cranny of your house. This is optional, but if you’re looking to make your house smell extra fresh after vacuuming, simply pop an air freshener (the car ones will do) in the main body of your Henry, on the bottom and below the bag.The HEPA filter can trap particles and also, the body is sealed well. Earning it an A rating for dust re-emissions. Of course, as is the case with so many of these bagless vacuums, the canister will cause a small dust cloud when you empty it. This is easily the best vacuum cleaner if you’re worried about allergies or you’re looking to ease asthma, the 40 minutes run time is plenty to get around your whole house and it’s light enough for easy daily cleaning. Henry is now suitable for dust related allergies. No mess, No dust, No allergens. Still the Henry we all know and love from Numatic but with the added seal of approval from the British Allergy Foundation. Henry Allergy-Friendly Cleaning The frugal member of the family, James Hoover is a slightly smaller vacuum cleaner and comes with a couple of other alterations.

Though I wouldn’t recommend it for anybody with very serious allergies, for somebody with sensitivity to dust or dust mites, then this is enough to keep your house free from allergens. In all, it is a good value vacuum for allergies. The Henry Eco is very similar to other 6-litre Henry models, with the key difference being an energy-efficient motor – 420W compared with 620W. Reducing the motor power helps save on energy bills, although the suction power is slightly reduced as a result.

This is the case for Henry and Hetty – short for Henrietta – who is Henry's female counterpart. The features and specifications of the two vacuum cleaners are exactly the same, the only differences are that Hetty is slightly smaller (although it weighs the same) and comes in pink or yellow, with long eyelashes. Aside from the cordless design, it has a 6 litre capacity (which is huge for a cordless), power boost mode, and HepaFlo bags. Like other Henry models, it comes with several tools, such as a crevice nozzle and dusting brush. The bagged design also means it could be a good choice for those with allergies. However, is Henry the right vacuum for you? Vacuum cleaner tech has progressed massively since Henry’s inception and the cordless vacuum cleaner has risen in popularity, with Dyson’s lightweight and powerful models – quite literally– leading the charge.

For the average home, the HZ series isn’t required as the standard HepaFlo bags + TriTex filtration is adequate for household dust and allergens. The HZ series is only necessary for industrial uses. Which is the Best Henry Hoover? Henry the Hoover has become a mainstay in British households since his introduction in the early 1980s, meaning the original Henry Hoover has now been cleaning UK households and workplaces for more than fourty years. Famed for this smiling face and red colour, Henry has become a firm favourite and a vacuum of choice. Love a Henry but want to go for one of the best cordless vacuums? The Henry HVB160 cordless vacuum cleaner is well worth a look. Our reviewer Sarah gave it 4.5 stars and thinks it's great for smaller homes as its battery life only lasts for 30 minutes.
