On Day 21, we get what looks like an incomplete build, suggesting that we’ll have a few days of components to build some sort of ship, perhaps a Sleigh? The image doesn’t spoil ALL of the contents, but in addition to C-3PO and R2-D2 in ugly christmas sweaters, we also get a beach Darth Vader, Snow Trooper, Battle Droid and a Clone Commander, which looks suspiciously like the one from the UCS Republic Gunship. In theory, this means that the single picture must be self-evident enough to convey what is typically depicted in multiple steps. Overall, not a bad day, especially if you enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy movie references, even if the contents are a little plain, but I appreciate the Easter Eggs included! Star-Lord, the not-as-charismatic-as-he-thinks leader of the Guardians, comes with his laser blasters and jets strapped to the sides of his boots (made from gold roller skates). The mix tapes his mom made for him are represented by a new tile print on both a larger stereo and a smaller portable radio. The stereo has a pair of detached speakers, while a gift box containing a pair of dark tan headphones gives Star-Lord a way to listen to the smaller radio. The designs are fairly simplistic, with only the general shape and colours used to clue you into what they actually are. Not bad from Day 10, and with so many cool and unique spaceship designs to draw from, I sure hope this won’t be the last micro-build we see!

Well would you look at that, we did for three for three with Day 19’s Groot minifigure. We get a young adult version of Groot, which has a dark tan colour scheme, and really nice detailed printing across his torso and legs.
