The finned design that encompasses the entire device body isn’t just eye-catching, it’s also incredibly functional. Expertly angled upwards and out for effective heat dissipation. At the top of the device is the swiveling mouthpiece, which sits atop the cooling unit. There’s also a patterned leather accent with the S&B logo squarely under the mouthpiece. The Crafty Plus vaporizer, along with the Mighty+ vaporizer, is hands down the two most used vaporizers of my entire collection. I use it almost every day, and it’s the first vaporizer I reach for when I’m heading out of the house. I take the Crafty Plus skiing, biking, hiking, a night on the town, festivals, concerts, etc. An additional factor to consider when buying a dry herb vape is whether they have a removable battery that can be replaced. On the other hand, convection ovens heat by creating an atmosphere of the hot air which in turn heats your cannabis. This has the advantage of heating your weed evenly but it can take minutes (rather than seconds) to reach vaping temperature. The Pax vaporizers are a prime example of this. Once the Pax gets dirty, it becomes almost impossible to use. The Crafty Plus uses a combination of convection and conduction heating, but leans heavily in favor of convection, which gives your herb a nice flavor and vapor quality. Appearance-wise, they both have a finned design, but the difference is that the new Crafty Plus fins angle upward, while the original’s go straight across.
