Tool-free hard drive tray allows for easy hard drive upgrades. Install Any 2.5” SATA hard drive in seconds. If power is restored within 10 seconds, the device will return to its previous state. If power is not restored within 10 seconds, the device will safely shutdown.

The 2.5-inch HDD on the Gen2+ can be easily user removed and upgraded, using a button on the base of the unit. Ubiquiti include a 1TB 2.5-inch Toshiba drive from factory, which can be upgraded to a maximum of 5TB.

Removable hard drive tray for 2.5" SATA drive. The Cloud Key G2 Plus only supports hard drives that can operate on 5V power. Hard drives that require additional power are not supported. Connects to a gigabit switch port on your LAN. Power can be provided by an 802.3af PoE switch, such as the UniFi PoE Switch.

So wird nun auch die Unterseite von Luft umströmt. Neben einer etwas besseren Wärmeabfuhr konnte ich so auch die Vibrationsgeräusche der 1TB Festplatte verringern. - Die Vibrationen sind ohne diese Maßnahme übrigens ausreichend gewesen das Gerät mit der Zeit etwas wandern zu lassen. Der CloudKey stand über Nacht stets leicht verdreht.
