About this deal

Villain of the Detour: In the last act, Bumblebee, Arcee, and Cog have to deal with the Energon broker, Soundblaster, to get the fuel needed to launch the Ark. Mandarin: Megaton (Taiwan, 密卡登 Mìkǎdēng), Wēi Zhèn Tīan (China, 威震天, lit. "Extremely Prestigious" or "Heaven-shaking Might")

The duo eventually encountered the Gamekeeper, who was guarding the carvings that the Sharkticon rebels had created. The Gamekeeper taunted them, and revealed that the Quintessons were staging another invasion of Cybertron as they spoke. Megatron tore out the monster's eyes and eventually killed him. The Decepticon leader was intrigued by the carvings, although Optimus was skeptical of their veracity. The two eventually discovered Xeros, who was manipulating his Sharkticon servants with a decoy Matrix. Believing it to be the Decepciton Matrix he was promised, Megatron grabbed it and shoved it into his chest. Morton's Fork: Optimus Prime is forced to choose between surrendering to Megatron or continuing to fight the war. Optimus believes (or rather knows, since he knows Megatron better than the other Autobots) that both choices lead to the same result of Megatron annihilating them all, so Optimus continues to persist in finding a way for the Autobots to abandon Cybertron. At some point after Cybertron's Golden Age, a group of Sharkticons foresaw him as the being who would one day lead them to freedom. They managed to carve an image of him on a cave wall before they were executed. Retribution Adaptational Personality Change: Predacon Megatron is usually portrayed as an megalomaniacal schemer who cares about nothing but gaining power for himself but here he is seemingly content to submit to the original Megatron out of a belief that his namesake will change his future for the better.D-16 was born during the Age of Wrath. The Quintesson occupation of Cybertron had neutered the ritual of ascending from the Well of All Sparks, to the point where newly born Cybertronians would emerge without names or developed personalities. After a brief but tantalizing glimpse at Cybertron's sun, D-16 was sent to work in the mines underneath Kaon. He took his name from the sector in which he worked, and eventually befriended some of the other nameless workers who had been dealt similar hands by the Quintessons. One Cybertronian in particular served as a sounding board for D-16's earliest sociological musings. From this nameless bot D-16 realized the importance of a proper name. By the time that the Quintessons had been routed from Cybertron, D-16 was already craving more out of life.

After Sentinel Prime's body was laid to rest, his head inexplicably went missing. With the people of Cybertron unaware that Sentinel was a Titan Master who had disconnected from his Transtector, the Decepticons were blamed for mutilating the corpse, allegations that Megatron denied. The Last Autobot Early days of war G1 EARTH MODES AND WEAPONS: Megatron figure converts into classic G1 Cybertronian tank mode in 17 steps and comes with 2 weapon accessories Dramatically Missing the Point: When Sky Lynx states that being in the Dead Universe had allowed him to become true power, Optimus thinks that he is still as arrogant as when Alpha Trion banished him. Sky Lynx then clarifies that even with all his power, he could never leave the Dead Universe, and the situation forced him to reexamine himself and took a level in humility.Starting with this toyline, many of the Deluxe and upwards figures are downsized, the Leaders (plus additions) either being just a head short of a Voyager class figure from previous lines, or simply being Voyager core figures sold with extra parts to make up the price point. Siege also features a heavy focus on articulation, with common standards found on Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader Class figures being waist joints and ankle pivots, something which the following lines continue to feature. According to Shogo Hasui, this is to ensure that the feet of each toy can stand whilst holding gear from the C.O.M.B.A.T system. Now infuriated at his army being constantly bested by the Autobots, Megatron took the Nemesis to the Erta Ale volcano where he had his troops fight in a series of deathmatches to apply the principle of survival of the fittest. He forced Starscream to fight Fearstorm, and when Starscream won, seemed happy enough to let his lieutenant return to the ship. Megatron's Law After Bulkhead destroyed an energon store, Megatron had him captured and taken aboard the warship, where the Autobot was placed in the newly developed Ultra Prison. Megatron sneeringly informed Bulkhead that the prison would slowly wipe his mind, but it was Megatron who got the raw end of the deal when the Nemesis was badly damaged during the inevitable Autobot rescue. The Battle for Bulkhead Hasbro and Threezero are pleased to introduce the feared Decepticon leader Megatron as the next TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY product in the Transformers DLX Collectible Figure Series! The gun Elita-1 uses to fire on Megatron is the "RT-5 Anti-thermo Blaster" with the "SR Hushfuze" barrel attachment which is included with both releases of the Siege Chromia mold. This is also among the few blasters that get re-used as generic Autobot weapons.

Adaptational Jerkass: Downplayed example with Bumblebee. Compared to previous incarnations, who started off as Autobots, he starts off as a neutral, getting paid to search for Energon for groups; he also doesn't want any part in the conflict, and is simply doing what he can to survive. He's also notably grumpy and cynical, a far cry from the chipper bot from all previous continuities. When Scarlett and Joe Colton discussed the Cybertronian influence on Earth, Megatron's infiltration unit as well as his devastating invasion of Earth were key points. In light of Optimus Prime's recent actions, Colton seemed to have his doubts on whether or not Megatron had truly been the 'evil' one. Secret Raiders Megatron used the Energon mace to smash Optimus Prime's head in during the Battle for Hell's Point. Chaos Theory Part 1 Beast Wars: Uprising Deciding that Optimus Prime didn't need another martyr, Megatron left Bumblebee alive to remind others that he could take and spare lives as he wished. Satisfied with his work, Megatron retreated with what was left of his Decepticons. Bumblebee at Tyger Pax IDW Aligned comics After receiving a life sentence, Starscream defended his reign to Bumblebee by stating that, unlike Megatron, he hadn't plunged Cybertron into four million years of war. Surfeit of PrimesNever Trust a Trailer: The Earthrise trailer shows off Nemesis Prime as if he will be important in some way this season. In the actual show, he cameos in a vision from Sky Lynx when he shows Optimus would might happen to him if he was consumed by darkness. He does get more to do in the final episode of Kingdom though. In a beautiful bit of design, the turret can actually turn! Over the years this has become less common with "tank" Transformers so this is great. The tank rolls on four small wheels on the bottom. There are two 5mm ports on either side of the vehicle. You could also flip out the robot fists if you wanted to attach extra weaponry. The hard points for the Blast Effects are found on top of the turret and on the rear tread sections.
