About this deal

Think of it this way. You will happily spend a little extra for more data on your phone, a nicer bottle of wine and that slightly plusher sofa. Turbo cleaners simply aim to improve the driving experience of your vehicle. They will maintain its efficiency and reliability, whilst also saving you from expensive repairs in the future. For such a small outlay, there really is a lot to gain and not a lot to lose. Removes carbon from inside diesel or petrol engines, including both turbo and non turbo. The removed carbon allows for restored power, economy and reduces emissions. Pour-in turbo cleaners work by adding the contents into the fuel tank, to mix with the diesel inside. This mixture will pass through the fuel system and engine before finding its way to the turbo. Improvement in performance and fuel economy should be noticeable almost immediately, as well as preventing issues with further build up if applied at regular intervals, as recommended by the manufacturers. ALL of the above codes were cleared with the exception of "0415 : Engine Oil Temperature above normal range" which required the changing of the temperature sensor itself. This item wassourced directly from Freightliner and Rob changed it out which eliminated the final code. Over time this will create a poor seal on the valve seats and increase friction on the valve stems and ultimately add to increased unburnt and recycled air contamination creating further carbon build-up.

Easy to use - no direct access to the turbo needed, simply spray into the inlet after the air filter. By performing the 3 step process of the Revive treatment, carbonised layers are removed gradually, making the engine cleaning process very safe. Suitable for all diesel engines and those that run biodiesel blends up to B30. Forte recommends using at regular service intervals to remove existing build ups and prevent future issues occurring or to treat existing symptoms when they arise. Last but by no means least, Forte’s products promise no lesser results than those of its rivals. Forte have been working with engineers, mechanics and automotive specialists in the UK for over 40 years, aiming their products squarely at people who care about their vehicles. Thanks to this industry experience, the company offers a wide range of products, specifically tailored to make them easy to use and effective. This product is a cleaner for gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines but can be used for other types of fuel injection systems, as well. However, if you have a GDI engine, CRC recommends using their spray every 10,000 miles to ensure optimal engine performance.Leave your turbo neglected for long enough, and the soot built-up can sap a significant amount of power, or worse, seize the turbo altogether. Carbon buildup is the main reason why you might need to clean your turbo. Remember that a turbo is a form of forced induction and uses exhaust gases to push more air into your engine. Unfortunately, the exhaust gases contain particulates, hydrocarbons, and sometimes even oil. The Revive worked great!!!! My Duramax boosts better and doesn't smoke as bad and also fuel economy increased dramatically. Thanks A common issue however, that does crop up for modern turbocharged vehicles, is clogging of the turbocharger and its internal components, particularly on diesel engines. Exhaust gasses (that pass through the turbocharger) contain unburnt fuel and soot, carried out of the engine after it’s combustion cycle. This dirty air, which is particularly foul in diesel-engined vehicles, will deposit onto components within the turbo and lead to improper function, damage and even failure in extreme circumstances. By performing three Revive cleaning doses on the vehicle, carbonised layers are removed gradually, making the engine cleaning process very safe.

Consult the factory service manual to find the location of your vehicle’s turbo and associated components if you are unsure where they are located on your specific make, model, and year. Best Turbo Cleaners for Both Diesel and Gasoline Engines Spray Revive in 3 doses of 250ml into the intake, 1st with the engine running at 2200 RPM, next at 1800 RPM, stop the engine for 3 minutes, re-start the engine then finally at 2000 RPM.

Technical Data

JLM’s product is suitable for all turbo-powered diesel engines, applied simply by adding into the fuel tank. One bottle is suitable for mixing with up to 70 litres of diesel fuel, to ensure maximum effect. No further dismantling or assistance is required, simply drive. The product is safe for use in all diesel and petrol engines, while Ecomotive recommends using the spray around every 3000 miles to keep parts clean and issues to a minimum. I wanted to try to get some hard data on the results of the Revive Turbo Cleaner verses relying on the ole’‘butt dyno’ which doesn’t translate well over the internet. So I fired up VCDS and took some videos of the Specified Boost (red in the graphs) and Actual Boost Green in the graphs. But I can really tell a difference in the before and after just by driving it. I live in a fairly hilly area and the car would sometimes go into limp mode when pulling up some of the hills if I was hard on it. I couldn’t make it go into limp mode after the treatment, and areas that I used to have to downshift into 4th or 3rd I didn’t have to now. Before Revive’s water-based formula is said to be bio-degradable and non-toxic, really emphasising the companies focus on environmental impact and sustainability. Simply sprayed into the inlet, after the air filter, the solution will pass through the turbo and engine to remove all build ups, though this may require multiple applications. Thanks to the large quantity provided, this product should support multiple uses.
