The Neo QLED QN95A ran the OLED pretty close, but it laps this traditional QLED. The QLED Q80A falls into the common trap of being too dark, but while the two models above stumble into gloom, the Q80A falls headfirst into it. Get some high-quality content up and running – a 4K HDR10+ Blu-ray of American Gangster in this instance – and it’s the brightness and clarity of the Samsung’s contrasts that’s the most immediately impressive thing about it. About the only area where the QN85A doesn’t excel is motion control. The Manchester City-based content is filled with instances of rapid, complex on-screen movement, and when the going gets especially trying, the Samsung can give away how hard it’s working. Some minor edge-shimmer is the most common tell-tale, with ghosting and image-doubling so rare as to be negligible. So it turns out Mini-LED isn’t only for the very well-heeled. The QN85A isn’t flawless in the way it performs, but it’s mighty close – and those of us who have them should be ready to be disabused of our LCD preconceptions. A co z toho plyne? U 65 palců je to 31 000 vs 42 000 Kč, tam už bych výrazně zvažoval zda mi by mi nestačila QN85A. U větších velikostí je rozdíl ještě větší. Uvidíme jaký bude rozdíl ceny v budoucnu. QN90A je bez debat lepší televizor. V kontextu ceny a využití však může dávat koupě QN85A smysl. Samsung Q80T
These prices bring the QN85A into more-or-less direct competition with some of the best OLED TVs around. The likes of LG, Panasonic and Sony – to name but three – all offer a high-performance TV of this size for very similar money. The picture quality here (as long as you're not watching content of less than 1920x1080 resolution) is so impressive, it makes the relative weakness of the accompanying sound a moot point.Otherwise, you’re looking at a similar level of performance in other areas with 4K/120Hz gameplay supported and HDMI 2.1 covered across all its inputs via the One Connect box. Další zajímavou dvojkou může být QN85A a letošní druhý nejvyšší 4K LCD model od Sony, X90J. V obou případech se jedná o LCD, to v čem je rozdíl je použitý typ panelu. Sony má VA, Samsung má IPS. Sony je taková masivnější a výrazně tlustší (7,2 cm vs 2,7 cm). Díky VA panelu má Sony přirozeně lepší kontrastní poměr. Nicméně v reálném světě a díky lokálnímu tlumení (mimochodem Sony 30 zón, Samsung 576 zón) to není tak jednoznačné. Za některých situací má lepší obraz Sony, za jiných Samsung. Kde Samsung jasně vede je maximální jas. Tam dosahuje cca dvojnásobných hodnot. Pro sledování ve dne je tedy výrazně lepší Samsung. Zvládá o dost lépe i odlesky světla na obrazovce. The design of the stand differs from than the premium Neo QLED models and can accommodate a soundbar (preferably a Samsung one). It remains available in a few sizes, but like all 2021 models, availability is low and in some cases either is a second hand or refurbished model. QN85A nemá vrstvu pro lepší pozorovací úhly. Ale to vůbec nevadí, protože je to IPS panel. V ohledu pozorovacích úhlů je tom výrazně lépe. Jen pozor že pod větším úhlem je více patrná práce podsvícení a tím pádem je vidět i více bloomingu. Maximální jas dosahuje 1 200 nitů. To je pochopitelně výrazně méně než u QN90A, ale na druhou stranu je to pořád velmi slušná hodnota. Pokud nemáte všechna okna na jih a nesledujete tv bez možnosti zatemnění, tak je rozhodně více než použitelná pro sledování ve dne. Jen do opravdu (v tomto ohledu) extrémních světelných podmínek bych raději bral QN90A nebo QN95A. HDR Approximate width of the display. Tedy chápu že IPS panely jsou levnější, ale zase ne o tolik aby to zákazník nezkousnul v celkové ceně televizoru. Navíc QN85A není rozhodně extra levný televizor. Samsung byl dosud známý tím, že i do levných televizí dával VA panely a nebyla u něj běžná „panelová loterie“. Tím je myšleno to, že stejný televizor může mít různý typ panelu. Někdy VA někdy IPS. A tím pádem má dost odlišné obrazové vlastnosti. Pozorovací úhly a vhodnost do slunné místnosti Digitální vylepšení ostrosti obrazu, obecně doporučuji nezapínat. Jen v případě, že sledujete hodně videa v nízké kvalitě. Expect performance to be on a similar path as the S95B. Peak HDR performance is around 1000 nits (depending on the picture mode), the audio system is the less powerful OTS Lite with only 40W of power. However, in keeping with the rest of Samsung’s premium TVs, all HDMI inputs support the 2.1 standard.
