My husband and I began exploring the UK significantly more last year, when we put in place a self-imposed ban on holidaying abroad to help lower our carbon footprint. This guide would a perfect aide to our adventures! In October 2020 we worked with Wikipedia and the agency VMLY&R (pro-bono) on our award-winning Find The Right Words campaign, replacing all the negative language used on the world's biggest encyclopedia. We made a video narrated by Scroobius Pip showing what we did and produced an ad campaign that was rolled out not just in the UK, but in Australia, the USA, Ireland and Canada, after we reached out and worked with international stammering associations. A series of initiatives followed including intensive therapy courses and theatre workshops for children and teenagers who stammer, a series of open days and a BSA National Conference, plus training for speech & language therapists.

Fortunately, a legacy donated in the late 1980s enabled the charity to review its work, produce the AfS's first long-term strategic plan in 1988 and recruit its first members of staff. The legacy, together with effective fundraising and a successful bid to Telethon, brought in funds and an application to the Department of Health, as it then was, for match funding was successful.Iain is also the founder of ' 50 Million Voices', a campaign bringing together employment leaders from around the world to collaborate and transform opportunities at work for people who stammer. A splendid idea (I never discovered its predecessor!). We rarely use the UK Motorway service stations, except for the loos, which are usually quite good. Our attempts to find a good eatery just off the Motorway have been rather hit and miss, so the guide could be very helpful.

From revelations in The Timeless Children, I imagined the Division being some historical secret Time Lord organisation interfering in the galaxy that was long done and dusted. This episode made it clear that the Division was still an active threat in the universe, which put paid to my previous theories. I still think Tecteun will turn out to be a pre-mind wipe Master, the exploitative relationship between her and the Timeless Child setting the blueprint for the loving antagonism between Master and Doctor.

Unfortunately, ‘just off the motorway’ didn’t offer much for the bits of motorway we used at the time. I would love to see if this new version can come up with more alternatives. My ride is a trusty, rusty Dawes Mean Street, which has just passed its 25th birthday. I need a reliable bell that rings lustily every time, even when I have gloves on. Yes please. This was the first Flux chapter where we didn’t see Joseph Williamson or his tunnels, and there was no sign of Barbara Flynn’s mysterious White Guardian Awsok either. Or Swarm. Boo. I would love one for my mobility scooter. I sing as i go along the roads, also pass the time of day with those i pass.. I have a child’s bike bell, but that isn’t loud enough for folks to hear, hence my put of tune singing Windsor did become well known in the London theatrical scene, but it was the "Carry On" comedies that made her a star. Although she appeared in only nine films in the long-running series (she left because she thought they were getting too risqué), she made such an impression as the basically good-hearted but dizzy sexpot that many of the series' fans believe she was in many more than she actually was. She almost didn't get the role originally, as she and series regular Kenneth Williams took an instant dislike to each other, but that was soon overcome and they became lifelong friends.
