A manga adaptation of the series, written and illustrated by Teruaki Mizuno, was serialized in Shueisha's Saikyō Jump manga magazine from October 2012 to April 2014. Gaku Shou is talented with a glaive and was able to easily overpower Mou Ten with a single strike and later fought on par against Shin. When hints to the identity of the third chosen driver are deciphered on the Rosettagraphy, Kakeru decides they refer to his friend, Michie. Student Todoroki Kakeru learns he is a 'chosen driver', becomes involved with the battle with the evil organization Xenon, and is given a special transforming car - a Gyrozetter - named Raibird.

In this route, the faction that would eventually be known as Shoku is driven off from their original land by being in constant siege from Enshou and Enjutsu. They asked for Sousou's permission to pass by her territory to get to the land that will eventually be nown as Shoku. Sousou agrees on the condition that the faction hands over Kan'u to them, upon which Ryuubi refused. After the two's goals and dreams proved to clash with the other's, Sousou angrily allows them to pass by with only the warning that her Gi will eventually come to crush them as well. Ryofu, having heard news of Toutaku and Kaku's newfound position and assuming that they have been captured as Prisoners of War, would then rush to their rescue, fighting the faction until Ryofu's hunger and Toutaku's pleas wins her over. Ryofu then joins the new faction. As incidents of data disappearing crop up across the city, Arcadia TV's Todoroki Kenzou is more preoccupied with remembering why that day is special to his wife.
