About this deal

Reading other people’s stories about how they lived their lives, their life philosophies, and how they overcame their challenges in life can be a good source of motivation and knowledge when you’re saying “I don’t know what to do with my life.”

Having a life plan and vision and knowing your purpose and how you want to live your life are the foundations to building your confidence, resilience, courage, and accountability.

And when I applied that obsessiveness for self-improvement and competition to my own business and to my writing, well, things took off in a big way. Life can be as beautiful and fulfilling as you can dream of. You need to set your heart at something and put all your energies and efforts into achieving it. That is what a fulfilling life is all about. Answering the questions listed in this article will help you in figuring out what you want in life and where life should lead to. So, don’t delay and grab a piece of pen and paper and ascertain the answers to start living the life of great dreams! Or you could be deciding between two jobs. One is the perfect fit—exactly what you’ve been looking for, but will likely be long hours. The other is slightly different/less ideal, but offers a great deal of flexibility and work/life balance. What do you value most?

Human beings are defined by a sense of personality, experiences and reason. We are often inclined to believe that the face we see in the mirror is us, a thing which has developed a personality through experiences. Here the body is merely a tool for the true self, the mind. It is however an error to conclude that the body is not significant for selfhood. Without a body a mind would not be able to make certain types of judgments. Make a sudden plan for a candle light dinner with your loved ones, simply because you do not feel like cooking. 68. Take a lonely night walk Remember at the beginning of this article, when I said no one was going to come along and hand you a roadmap for life? When I was a child, I used to write stories. I used to sit in my room for hours by myself, writing away, about aliens, about superheroes, about great warriors, about my friends and family. Not because I wanted anyone to read it. Not because I wanted to impress my parents or teachers. But for the sheer joy of it. You WILL try things you don’t like and work with people you can’t stand, but as long as you learn from it, you’re moving forward. And that’s all life is about—getting one percent better every day.One of the very first things I share with my clients is this: you don’t have to figure out what you want to do with the entire rest of your life! All the same, there’s always something to be grateful for. I mean, you could even argue that this entire period of struggle over your life is one big learning opportunity… Examining the road you’ve traveled to get to where you are today can sometimes illuminate a path forward, particularly when you begin analyzing the ups and downs and the major catalysts of your life so far. Once you have these achievable steps planned out, you’ll be well on your way to answering that devious question, “What do I want to do with my life?”

With the thought of limitless resources, your mind would open up to answering the questions about all that really matters. That is what you really need to find out the answers for! Now, that probably sounds incredibly pessimistic. And you may be thinking, “Hey Mr. Manson, turn that frown upside down.” But I actually think this is a liberating idea. You write down all the things you want to do before you die. Naturally, you become excited and inspired by the opportunities available. Firstly, you have an epic adventure somewhere in the world, which automatically makes life feel more worthwhile.Do you want to work longer hours for the first few years of your career journey, to earn more money faster? Here is the set of questions that you need to ask yourself: 1. What are the things I’m most passionate about? Finally, and I’ve experienced this for myself, there’s something intrinsically healing about travel. Great things are, by their very nature, unique and unconventional. Therefore, to achieve them, we must go against the herd mentality. And to do that is scary. I can answer nearly all of my questions and feel confident about my answers without ever pinging my imaginary fairy godmother. This includes finding the answer to the old favorite, “What do I want to do with my life?”

Create a vision of your ideal life. Think carefully about what brings you joy, what keeps you happy and calm, and what makes you thrive. Also, think about what things you don’t want in life, so you know what to avoid. You can nurture your creativity and create a masterpiece of your own. This is so special for you because you have put your head and heart into it. 22. Plant potted plants You can plan a short weekend getaway, or even a day’s tour to some iconic place around the city. Plan all the details of where to go, how to reach there, nearby eateries etc. why not pamper yourself with a solo travelling; keeping aside the wishes of the family members. You can do whatever you feel like. Nobody is watching. Right! 55. Stand in front of the mirror and smile Not only is it hugely judgmental, but it’s also a strain on my mental wellbeing. I wonder what I’m doing with my life and look around at the friends and family crushing it in their respective fields. Both of you can pay a visit to a flea market and spend good time together. It offers good discounts for trendy items. You can shop, shop, and shop till you drop. After all, girls are the best when it comes to shopping. 46. Chit-chat with her and let her know your secrets Right now, there’s something you want to do, something you think about doing, something you fantasize about doing, yet you don’t do it. You have your reasons, no doubt. And you repeat these reasons to yourself ad infinitum. To move forward, you have to let go of your past and embrace change. With change comes reinvention. If you don’t know who you are and what you want, it makes it a lot harder to move forward in your life. What do I want in life?” If you constantly ask yourself this type of question, you probably need more clarity about the future. You might have seen some of your colleagues or friends pushing themselves to achieve specific goals in life. For me, during this challenging time, when I was telling myself, “I don’t know what to do with my life,” exercise was the solution to helping me get through my day.
