About this deal

Say hello to the 2020 LEGO Winter Village set – 10275 Elf Club House, the perfect addition to your Christmas LEGO display. Highlights of the set: the mini-built gifts and furniture (especially the wrapping station, just genius!), I'm in love with the lights and will likely be creating more for my Winter Village, and of course the Christmas Tree. At it's core it's the same standard LEGO have settled on for how to build a really great tree, but here Chris took a totally different approach to the outer 'shell' and in the process created the fullest looking LEGO tree ever! The main section of the build, and also the funniest is the bunk beds – which really ties together the playful nature of this set. The Reindeer pulls a small basic sleigh, which has pearl gold embellishments which contrast nicely against the red and white. On the ground floor is a small counter and chairs, which have plates of waffles and red mugs for the Elves to eat.

There's a few things that will make a LEGO set a must have for me. One of those things is Christmas. I'm one of those annoying people who loves Christmas more than caring about whether my family want to watch a Hallmark Christmas movie in July. Christmas music hits my playlists early November, decorations go up the weekend after Thanksgiving. Part of those decorations is my collection of Christmas LEGO. This year I may need to convince my wife to get a second table because my collection is getting too big for my allotted corner. This is a minor, minor gripe, and has been a problem forever, but I really dislike the colour bleeding from the Elf hat onto their ears. It’s been tradition on the blog to publish my review of this year’s Winter Village set around Christmas, but LEGO were kind enough to offer the set for review, and I couldn’t wait till December.

The build and the bunk beds alone were funny enough, but the addition of this play feature, was such a brilliant surprise that really tied the entire set together for me. New LEGO animals are always a moment to celebrate, and I’m very pleased with the overall design, which we first saw with the LEGO Patronus from last year’s Expecto Patronum set. Create something truly magical with your family this holiday period. Savor the build then enjoy a wonderful festive display model that will bring seasonal cheer to your home year after year. It's the most wonderful time of the year...Obviously I'm talking about the release of the next Winter Village set. The Winter Village sets are probably the biggest factor for coming out of my dark ages. I tend to like the more realistic ones so for a second year in a row I'm uncertain on how keen I am on the fantasy subject matter. Last year's Gingerbread House won me over, let's see if the Elf Club House can do the same (spoiler alert, my Christmas addiction probably means it will!) Contents: The Set

Looking for Christmas or Advent gift ideas? This model building kit is ideal for LEGO® fans or any adult or family who’d love to receive a model building kit with a beautiful display piece to enjoy. Elf Club House will be available from LEGO.com on 23 September onwards from LEGO.com or your local LEGO store.

I love how incredibly simple, yet poignant this design is, especially for us oldies who may remember actually using a desktop computer like this. Last year, in my review of set Gingerbread House, I spoke a little about Winter Village sets and Christmas LEGO in general. You can also read other WInter Village / Christmas articles using the links below. The interiors are tiny, but they managed to squeeze in some furniture, and a sitting area, which is a great use of what little space they had. I don’t believe there’s an existing red propeller, although it could be a reference to this Duplo plane. Maybe LEGO are hinting at a Creator Expert propeller coming in the near future. Explore your favorite family Christmas traditions with this delightful building challenge. Build the quaint Elf Club House (10275) then explore all its cozy holiday details as you unwind with this hands-on project. The Elf Clubhouse joins 2014’s Santa’s Workshop and last year’s Gingerbread House as a fantasy-themed expansion of LEGO’s beloved Winter Village theme, which is a personal favourite of mine. In this set, we get a Pirate Ship (a nod to the Creator Pirate Ship)and a keyboard (which references the Grand Piano), and a red propeller, as well as 2 presents.
