About this deal

The grip handles on them are knurled which minimizes slipping. Another feature that is helpful when screeding small screws is swivel heads, as they allow you to manipulate them with one hand only. Sizes of screwdrivers are .50 mm, .60 mm, .80 mm, 1.00 mm, 1.20 mm, 1.40 mm, 1.60 mm, 2.00 mm, 2.50 mm, and 3.00 mm. Also comes with replacement stainless steel blades for all screwdrivers. The screwdrivers have a hefty feel to them, which tends to be a sign of quality in the context of screwdrivers. They are made of stainless steel and have a gripping surface. The tools measure 3 5/8 inches, which converts to about 9 cm in length. Whilst magnetic screwdrivers can be really convenient for a wide area of tasks when screwing, they’re not recommended when it comes to watches. The reason is simple: magnetism can have a negative effect on watch movements, magnetize them, and cause them to lose their accuracy. Fortunately, most screwdrivers that are made specifically for watches are not magnetic for this reason. But still, it can be good to keep in mind, because the last thing you want to do is magnetize your watch whilst working on it. How to use a watch screwdriver

Customer reviews

Attention All Watchmakers! Bergeon has launched one of the most comfortable screwdriver set to date. It has everything the FB-1200 offer and more. Simply put, this is the best of the best. So why not treat yourself with this wonderful 10 piece screwdriver set. Anthony from No BS Watchmaker indirectly convinced me to buy individual VOH screwdrivers because he talked about them in his watchmaking courses. stainless steel screwdrivers in the sizes 0.50, 0.60, 0.80, 1.00, 1.20, 1.40, 1.60, 2.00, and 2.50mm

The screwdrivers are delivered in a wood storage box to keep them organized and protected. The box also makes it suitable for when traveling. The screwdrivers are designed with aswivel head which allows the screwdriver to move freely in your hand without having to adjust it. The screwdrivers are also colored-coded and come with replacement blades. Most watchmakers use multiple sets of screwdrivers. Often, one of the sets has thinner blades to use with vintage watches, for example.Somewhere in between, I also bought a set of Beco’s own brand, which look suspiciously like Horotec screwdrivers. In fact, you can’t keep them apart if you look at them side by side. It includes 9 stainless steel screwdrivers which are color-coded and feature knurled shafts for better grip. It is very similar to the set above but has some differences. One difference includes that the grip is made in full stainless steel instead of having a rubber grip. It comes delivered with a rotating stand with storage which allows for easy access and a good overview of the tools. Included are also replacement blades in each size. Furthermore, the shafts have swivel heads so you can operate the screwing with one hand. First and foremost, you need to consider how many screwdrivers you need. As you have seen above, not all screwdriver kits are created equal. Some come with just a few screwdrivers whilst others come with a complete kit. The deciding factor in this should be what type of work you plan on doing. If you only intend to use it to adjust the bracelet on one watch you have, then you won’t need a bunch of different screwdrivers in different sizes. If, on the other hand, you’ll work on many different watches and parts, then it is a good idea to opt for a screwdriver kit with a wide selection of screwdrivers.
