About this deal

Although UCS sets were not a part of a separate line in 2006 yet, this set is considered a part of the UCS family. It was one of the first sets of this size released in the LEGO Star Wars theme.

Although the UCS AT-ST did not look as exceptional as the other early UCS sets like the Imperial Star Destroyer or Death Star II, it was an overall satisfying set that had a great design and was surprisingly sturdy. Fully armed and armor-plated, the incredibly detailed and realistic AT-ST stands over 16.5" (42cm) tall! As you’d expect from a set with almost 7,000 pieces, it comes in one of the largest LEGO boxes. The box is similar in size to that of other top-tier sets like 10294 Titanic and 75252 UCS Imperial Star Destroyer, though it’s a bit less wide, which gives it the impression of being a little taller. I misread your question and thought you were wondering what BRAND other than Star Wars might deserve the UCS treatment. It's funny that while the Star Wars brand appears to be flatlining worldwide, Lego Star Wars seems to be thriving... even as Harry Potter underperforms. Is there just a perfect overlap of Star Wars and (wealthier) Lego fans?"-Padmewan Although the piece count is quite low for the original retail price it had, and the build is pretty simple and straightforward, the final result is one magnificent set that is also a great display piece. As every other AT-ST, it looks fragile but I can assure you that it will not break. The AT-AT includes nine minifigures: Luke Skywalker, General Veers, two AT-AT pilots, one Snowtrooper Commander, and four Snowtroopers. It’s a good complement of characters, but you won’t find much new here. Most of the minifigure designs are shared with the 2020 version of the AT-AT. Other than that, the set includes the amazing Baze Malbus minifigure. This figure has an incredible amount of details and remains my favorite from the entire Rogue One line. Released on Triple Force Friday this new look AT-ST was featured in the TV Series The Mandalorian. This particular AT-ST was recovered from the remnant of the Empire by the Klatooninians. They drastically customised the AT-ST which is why it now sports brown leg and one red leg. It also has the Klatooinian clan symbols painted on the front.

Comparing this creation with 75153 AT-ST Walker exemplifies those significant changes, which remain unexplained in Star Wars canon. While the vehicle from Return of the Jedi is certainly more beloved, the lighter version arguably appears more appropriate for a scout walker and measures 27cm in height, narrowly surpassing the 2016 model. Master Builders Coruscant (something like Ninjago City that combines Senate, Jedi temple and maybe some more things, something like a base for the republic) Once we attach the legs and the last bit of armor cladding, Box II is complete, and the chassis now stands at its full height, looking like an odd robot dog. The top surface of the chassis has a mix of plates and tiles, but the body that we’ll build in Box III is largely independent. In the automotive world, this would be a body-on-frame design, as the body bolts to the chassis with just a few key connections and is easily removable later. Ep1 Tatooine scenes like Watto's shop, Skywalker home, podracer hall and tribune (though this could rather be a series of smaller-bigger playsets) Behind the troop bays, there’s a bay for Speeder bikes. Two are included in the set, though there’s room for four total in the AT-AT. It’s rumored that more Hoth-focused sets are on their way, so perhaps you’ll be able to give the AT-AT a full loadout soon. Here's the press release for the long awaited and highly anticipated Ultimate Collector Series AT-AT: Here we can see how the new quarter-circle gears are used, though. Unlike the shoulders and knee joints, the ankles move freely, with geared runners on the quarter-circle gears. This makes for a very strong but flexible connection, though it has a fairly limited range of motion. The droid also includes four articulated legs with multiple sensors around the head, suitably varying to assess different wavelengths of light, radiation and other variables. Moreover, this sinister droid is mounted on a trans-clear column, elevating it above the ground. Despite feeling unnecessary within this set, the Imperial Probe Droid is a highlight. The belly of the beast of course has the hatch that Luke blows open, as well as an attachment point for his grappling hook. The rope is included so you can recreate the scene, and Luke’s even got a thermal detonator this time around. According to the UCS Promotional Poster, this set retired in 2008, but it was not discontinued until 2009.

The Imperial AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport), also known as the Scout Walker, carries the Empire’s forces swiftly and efficiently across the ice plains of Hoth and through the dense forests of Endor. Now you can build the ultimate collector’s model of this famous Star Wars™ vehicle from over a thousand LEGO pieces! The AT-AT isn’t just made for an accurate exterior, though. The interior is fully accessible. As we get the second floor on, the seating for troops is added. There’s seating for 40 troopers, an accurate count according to Star Wars reference materials, providing our first solid evidence that this AT-AT is properly minifigure scale.I think the related bullet point about the AT-ST being a 'lesser known' vehicle has the same problem, since I didn't know before reading the article that it differed from the one in Return of the Jedi. I wondered in what way an AT-ST in general was lesser known! Now, let’s take a look at why this set was a disappointment to so many people. First of all, this price for 370 pieces is not good. Although LEGO has been increasing the prices continuously in the latest years, this particular set honestly feels like a total rip-off.

Jedi Temple: stairs and main hall, Council room, library, analysis room, hangar and landing pad, maybe even a war council room, with Jocasta Nu and a few unique species Jedi Council masters. Must have enough place for my 501st legion though! But if you want a more canonical way to access the interior, you can try the large cargo doors on each side, which swing out and up, and stay positioned nicely when open. While the Millennium Falcon hasn’t faced off against an AT-AT (on screen, anyway) the freighter was instrumental in Princess Leia’s escape. As such, a LEGO Millennium Falcon is a solid addition to a broader Hoth scene. In the real world, Han Solo’s ship would measure 34.75m long, so a LEGO Falcon in scale with an AT-AT would be approximately 96cm in length. There are people who could afford the money, sure, having it sitting in the bank does nothing. Everyone has their own interests, some could spend this on a fine dining for a few people, some could spend this on luxury hotel stays. Etc. The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author. MinifiguresV-Wing Fighter | 6206 TIE Interceptor | 6207 A-Wing Fighter | 6208 B-Wing Fighter | 6209 Slave I | 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge | 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer | 6212 X-wing Fighter | 10174 Ultimate Collector's AT-ST ( UCS) | 10175 Vader's TIE Advanced (UCS) The differences between this model and previous examples are immediately apparent, beyond the expected advances in construction techniques and parts. 75153 AT-ST Walker and 75254 AT-ST Raider were reasonably similar and this design retains some features from those sets, especially in the structure of the legs. However, the proportions are completely unique, which matches the onscreen vehicle.
