About this deal

Stewart Smith professes not to be a writer but his easy, conversational style married with an extraordinary eye for horticultural, historical and even personal detail belies this. Readers will have their interest piqued by this captivating work, and can visit the garden to see for themselves (though Lambeth Palace itself is closed for refurbishment). When I was dying, you sat beside me and held my hand. I couldn’t sleep. I hadn’t needed sleep for a long time. We talked. We told each other stories and reminisced. I looked at you, as I always liked to look at you. You were not a beautiful man. Your nose was far too big, your eyelids drooped, and your skin was pale and blotchy. You were not a beautiful man, but you were my man.

Hal Puthoff is a physicist whose theories about zero point energy form the basis for The Field, along with his experiments with self-proclaimed psychics and “remote viewers” Swann & Price. As it turns out, Puthoff spent a decade as a highly involved, high level member of the Church of Scientology. Now, I’m not one to put down others for their involvement in religion. However, Scientology is not a religion. It is, in every sense of the word, a cult. If Puthoff is so gullible that he can be lured in by a cult for ten years, it seem pretty likely that his psychic friends swindled him too. I marked a lot of stuff. Susan Tessler's story includes in my opinion the 3 most beautiful lines of this beautiful book. (I will only tell people who have already read this book.) His arrival inevitably precipitates a crisis in the village, which can only be settled by rape, murder and a public auction, accompanied by no end of wise epigrams by the wizened local inhabitants, who have been waiting a generation for their chance to mutter profound sayings about the land and the people who live on’t. Harris growls and howls and looks like Lear as he wades about in the bitter sea and strides through the mud and peat, and there is no doubting this is a good performance, but in the service of a hopeless cause. As well, how consciousness affects reality is also vital because the wide-ranging set of experiments researched and discussed by McTaggart: This book is ridiculously fascinating. And wonderfully heady. And very, very difficult to grok. What you may or may not know about me: I am enchanted (albeit still utterly mystified) by quantum mechanics. If Peter Vollhardt, my Organic Chemistry professor at UC Berkeley in 1989, had somehow managed to explain quantum mechanics a little more clearly at the time, the course of my life may very well have been different. I might be working in a weird little lab somewhere, investigating the Zero Point Field, which is what Lynne McTaggart explores in The Field. Anyone breaking these rules, or endangering themselves or others on The Field may be asked to leave.

A fascinating and excellent presentation about the true nature of life that we need to be aware of and accept. - Bernie Siegel, MD, author of Love, Medicine & Miracles and Prescriptions For Living Lynne McTaggart (born 23 January 1951, in New York City) is an American alternative medicine author, publisher, journalist, lecturer and activist. [1] She is the author of six books, including The Field, The Intention Experiment and The Power of 8, and is the co-creator of the alternative medicine magazine What Doctors Don't Tell You. According to her author profile, she is a spokesperson "on consciousness, the new physics, and the practices of conventional and alternative medicine." [2] Career [ edit ] The author pulls together research done over the past 40-50 years showing that all discoveries together point towards a common direction:Die Energie in einem einzigen Kubikmeter Raum reicht aus, um alle Ozeane der Welt zum Kochen zu bringen.

since an electron can either be a wave or a particle, everything exists in a field of possibility and potential until consciousness changes it either way Bewusstsein war ein globales Phänomen, das sich überall im Körper abspielte, und nicht nur in unserem Gehirn. Bewusstsein war, aufs Wesentliche reduziert, kohärentes Licht. HOWEVER, it is clear that Lynne does not truly understand the scientific method in that she did not even attempt to establish her theory that "zero-point energy = life force" as an hypothesis. All she did was collect the references, and then say, "hey, it sounds to me that zero-point energy can explain this". This is fine as a popular book, but she is implying that her work is scientific because she got her references from scientists, which is a fallacy. Also, she kept saying "I can't really understand the science and the scientists had to speak to me in metaphors". Hmm... so she doesn't really understand what's going on, but after learning of some metaphors that loosely approximate the physics, she has enough understanding to construct a brand new paradigm of the universe. This is probably the most arrogant and ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Nonlocality shattered the very foundations of physics. Matter could no longer be considered separate. Actions did not have to have an observable cause over an observable space. Einstein’s most fundamental axiom wasn’t correct: at a certain level of matter, things could travel faster than the speed of light. Subatomic particles had no meaning in isolation but could only be understood in their relationships. The world, at its most basic, existed as a complex web of interdependent relationships, forever indivisible.”1Listen, people. ‘Skeptic’ isn’t a bad word. Being a skeptic doesn’t mean that you’re closed-minded and refuse to listen to new ideas. It means that you question everything. Approaching the world with skepticism is a good thing, because it means that you can’t easily be fooled. I’m a skeptic, and even though I wanted to believe what this book was telling me, the first thing I did after I finished was to google the author, all of the scientists, and all of the major concepts that were mentioned. What I found was that pretty much everything was grossly misrepresented. I’m not going to hash through all of that here because it’ll take up a lot of space, but I will however mention one fact that absolutely floored me when I read it. The Power of Eight: Harnessing the Miraculous Energies of a Small Group to Heal Others, Your Life, and the World (2017) ISBN 978-1501115547 Jis mažakalbis, jo knygos nė dviejų šimtų puslapių nesudaro, bet greitai jų perskaityti neįmanoma, nes Seethalerio tekstas yra meditacija, kurioje nusiskandintų akimirksniu net didžiausias cinikas. Cataloging her personal journey into the exploration of how to show consciousness affects matter, Lynne McTaggart does an exemplary job of showing the science that supports the notion that physical matter reality can be profoundly affected by cohesive thoughts through the subatomic world that encompasses nonlocality.

Nelabai…
