About this deal

A. There will be a 1.7m MC4 to Aviator cable that comes with the AC200P, and the original cable with the solar panel is 3 meters long. A. AC200P can maintain above 80% capacity after 3500+ cycles. After 3500 cycles, it will charge to 80%. At just 27.5 KG the Bluetti AC200P is light enough to take anywhere you want to go. Its strong carrying handles bake lifting and carrying easy, its compact size is a bonus if space is limited on a trip or in your cupboard. Charging Times The Lithium Iron Phosphate(LiFePO4) battery offers 3,500+ life cycles and lasts for almost 10 years (one cycle per day), along with the advanced Battery Management System (BMS) integrated in AC200P monitors everything happening in this device, protecting your device from every potential risk in the day-to-day operations. Solar Solution for Home Applications

The AC200P does not have a UPS mode, a feature required for work in an office setting. It will switch between battery charging and powering devices while connected to the grid. This will stress the battery and other internal components while decreasing the lifetime of the unit. A better way would have been to use a large capacitor to supply energy to connected devices while transitioning to the offline mode. Batteries would then take over, hence providing a continuous supply of energy. The competition The Bluetti AC200 was also about 57lbs and the AC200P is 61lbs. The AC200 used Lithium NMC (Lithium Ion) batteries and the AC200P uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) batteries. Battery The 4 USB-A ports are still useful and testing them with a load tester I was able to get over the spec’d 3A before the voltage started to drop. 2 x 230V 2000W outputsOne cool feature is that it does have two 15w wireless phone charger pads on top of the unit. If I were using this in my RV and had the unit next to the bed, I could easily use it to charge my phone at night just by placing my phone on top of it. Of course that only works with phones that have wireless charging though. occasionally when I’ve been trying to troubleshoot the ac200p when connected to solar ; the power led will light up for a minute or so then shut off The math is quite simple. You start with 2,000wh and you have to last about 12 hours without using more than 2,000wh. A fridge, freezer, and fan will use a combined value of 230wh/hr. That means we take 12hrs of darkness x 230wh = 2,730wh. So that may not work.

The Bluetti portable power station falls into the 2kW portable power station both with a 2kWh battery and a 2kW AC inverter. Based on LiFePO4 battery chemistry, this type of generator is rare with few competitors at this price point. The unit is also generous in terms of AC outputs. Six outlets providing a combined power of 2000W are available and can have their output voltages set either to 100V or 110V. The output frequency is also selectable between 50Hz or 60Hz. With an inverter efficiency of over 88%, the AC200P minimizes its thermal dissipation even at high loads and reaches 45dB of noise when used below 1500W. All outputs are protected against short-circuit while the AC inverter has built-in overload and temperature protections. The AC200P is portable and has a battery capacity of 2000Wh/540Ah and has an extremely long battery life with up to 3500 charge cycles as it uses the LiFePO4 battery. Plus there are 13 AC/DC/RV/USB outputs ports. Note: DOD is the battery discharge depth, η is the local inverter efficiency AC200P: DOD=90%, η=88%The low self-discharge (<3% per month) ensures that the Power Station can be kept for a long period of time. At 42x28x38.5cm (16.5x11x15.2 in.), the design is compact, making the AC200P perfect for use at home or on the go. The Bluetti AC200P’s inverter can peak up to 4,800w. That is almost 2.5x the continuous output rating. The norm is to have the peak output be twice as much as the continuous output, and the AC200P beats that again. Using the AC200P as a solar generator is one its greatest strengths. It can support an input voltage from 35V all the way up to 150V with a maximum current of 12A and there’s a built-in MPPT controller for more efficient solar charging. I turned it off and on again multiple times. I eventually changed the charge mode from car to solar and for some reason that allowed the wall charger to work. It’s a completely different plug being used to charge from so I don’t know how that affected it at all, but for some reason, it started working after that. The AC200P is the most powerful power station I’ve tested so far. It will power most household items quite happily and it even ran some pretty heavy machinery in my workshop. It’s worth remembering though that at its maximum 2000W output the sizable 2000Wh battery will still only last just under an hour.

It’s also very nice that it has LiFePo4 batteries which gives it an incredible lifespan of 3,500 cycles. WeaknessesTo test the USB-C, I plugged in my MacBook Pro, and I was able to consistently get 55 to 60 watts over USB-C. And I just figured, I’d test all the other ones at the same time. So, I plugged in a bunch of USB-A, including my Sonos, no problem. There my iPad pro charged, I also charged this Anker power bank, and well another bigger one and everything charged fine. Under Data you can see the system temperature at the top. Product Info shows the system information and Inverter and Charger Info shows the same information you get tapping the respective icons on the home screen. In any solar generator, there are three important factors. Large battery, powerful inverter, and high solar input. Most systems out on the market can allow up to 400w of solar input, some others are starting to get higher up to 600 watts of solar input like the Goal Zero systems.
