Clawdeen and Apollo became very close in their relationship, Apollo is the only human in Clawdeen's life who has loved her and accepted her the way she is. After Selena's disappearance, Apollo would act weird whenever Clawdeen mentioned something about monsters, but after Clawdeen revealed her monster side to her father, he revealed to her he knew about Selena being a werewolf, he apologized for not telling her before, as he was afraid to lose her too, and she forgive him. When everyone was on the Ghoul Mobile to leave, Draculaura was driving and Clawd sat in the front passenger seat. During the Nightmore party in the school, the two singed and danced together. Being an older brother is something new to Clawd, as before, he has never looked out for anyone but himself. So during the Growl-o-Games, Clawd has been very overprotective to her, to her annoyance. While they were trapped with the Venus Flytrap Monster, Clawd didn't let Clawdeen do anything and tried to take down the plant on his own but was almost eaten alive until Clawdeen saved him. This made Clawd realize Clawdeen can take care of herself, he apologized to her and confessed he is just scared of losing her, she forgave him, and they worked together to escape the monster plant. This has improved their relationship, as now they look out for each other.
Monster High has always been a freaky yet fabulous establishment, what with the catacombs underneath, the tentacles with a tendency to snatch random occupants, and the students ranging in age from barely created to centuries old.
Even before "Horsin' Around" premiered, Clawd and Draculaura have had some moments together in the series: Heath's hair flamed up for a second out of excitement and desperation, the gorgon leaned into the temperature that washed over, his snakes letting out a satisfied hiss. That was one thing, his friend is a fire elemental meaning that he could just hang around him when they were outside. The only issue would be if Heath decided to ditch on him.
During Clawd's song " Best of Both Worlds", she shyly reacted to his flirting when he was looking at her, and they dance together during almost the rest of the song, as everyone else dances with them during Clawd singing his song. But soon after, Clawdeen reveals her werewolf side to him, which he knew she is half-werewolf all along, though he doesn't know what happened to Clawdeen's mom, who was pure werewolf, after they got married and she mysteriously vanished. Meanwhile, Cleo was desperate into getting more views that will surpass Draculaura's views. She then escapes from Clawdeen's house to meet the humans in hopes to earn a lot of views. Clawdeen must stop her from being revealed as a monster in front of the humans before the ghouls get in trouble. Draculaura is smart, chic, confident, sweet, kindhearted and loyal. She always helps those who are in need and is shown to willingly give up her plans and wishes for someone else's, like she did with Lagoona and Abbey. Draculaura is a perfectionist, which means Draculaura only ever reveals her best side. But with the help of her best friends Clawdeen, Deuce and Frankie, Draculaura is learning to let her authentic, goofball self see the dark of day. [8]

Then, she accidentally opened the portal from the dream world to reality where the Night Terror is haunting Clawdeen, Draculaura, and Deuce in their dreams. Twyla then entered the dream world and tried to stop the Night Terror from haunting her friends, but he keeps on evading her and Twyla is about to give up to her nightmares. However, with the help of the Boo Crew and with the advice from Mr. Mothmanson, Twyla must face her fears and defeat the Night Terror.
