Pours a clear golden-amber colour, producing roughly two fingers of lumpy, soapy white head that steadily dissipates. Five minutes later it has been worn down to a sudsy collar and cap, with several rings of lovely, delicate lace adhering to the glass - a fine-looking ale for sure. Understated aroma of citrus, melon, doughy malts and an earthy, herbal, weakly spicy hop presence; hints of candied orange peel, tea and berries. When the fleet spawns, you will have to defeat a total of four waves of roughly 10 ghost ships per wave.

Ghost Ships on the other hand, require skilled cannon fire to defeat. Bully tactics such as swimming a keg or straight ramming into the hull will not work. Bring tons of cannonballs as well as massive amounts of planks to keep from sinking. He explains Ghost Ship (4.5% ABV) is Adnams’ biggest selling keg beer and also its biggest selling cask beer. So long as your aim is decent, and your crew is coordinated, Ghost Ships are not impossible to defeat. Wraith balls will burst multiple holes in your ship, so in theory, getting hit with 3 Wraith balls will at minimum place 9 – 12 holes, meaning you need 9-12 planks just for those three special Wraith balls. The base number of planks on a freshly spawned ship is 15 planks per plank barrel. So right there, three Wraith balls consumes nearly all your planks. It makes and sells beer and spirits and imports and sells wine. It has a small managed pub estate of about 10 pubs, including a couple of hotels, plus a small, tenanted side of about 35 pubs. In addition to their unique, visual appearance, Ghost Ship crews have unique battle mechanics.The low-alcohol variant is a big hit. Fitzgerald explains: “It’s essentially the same recipe as the 4.5% Ghost Ship but we had to make some adjustments to the recipe because we brew it, ferment it and then we put it through a system called reverse osmosis, which essentially takes the alcohol out. Phase 4 – The Boss brigade spawns with the Burning Blade as the leader. Defeat the Burning Blade to complete the battle and earn the ghostly loot The only reason to board the skeleton ship is if you need to prevent the skeletons from repairing the hole. This would be necessary if you are low on cannon balls, or have none left. You will not be able to anchor them, the anchor on the skeleton ship is non-existent.
