on the other hand, the wah is used sparingly, especially because of the position of the pedal. And since I bought a cry baby I used most of the wah me 70. OD/DS (Overdrive/Distortion): BOOST, NATURAL, OD-1, BLUES, DIST, CLASSIC, MODERN, METAL, CORE, FUZZ One thing we like is that the preamp module hasn't been lumped together with the distortion models. It's nice to be able to mix and match amps and pedals, and this really opens up the choice of overdriven sounds; although the Marshall and Boogie amp models are particularly suited to this sort of thing, we found some great tones by adding distortion to the clean amp model.

As a result the ME-70 might look under-spec'd compared with its nearest rival, the DigiTech RP500, but that's partly because BOSS has emphasised different features. The phrase loop, a remarkable feature... Short comment about it, it helped me improve my guitar soloing/playing and speed... (Thank God for Boss)... In my humble opinion this is a good product that makes many services (especially in the apartment with headphones) and that is good! We must not expect EXTRAORDINARY things, we must bring what it is and its price. In its category I find it very good

Stompbox Ease with Advanced COSM Creativity

All types of embedded preset effects either original or by manual adjustments taking into account different amp in the settings. Effect with Standard settings as preset to return to the classic effect forgetting all personal mods (EZ) I wanted to share this story, after long investigation and due diligence - I spent a month deciding what multi-effects box to buy, Digitech or Boss or what - I bought a Boss ME-70, and farkled with it for almost 3 months - getting virtually nowhere - I managed to create ONE sound I liked (Pink Floyd Shine) and saved. The rest of the time I got lots of noise out of it. Space ships, elephant farts, sure, so I spent a gaggle of hours looking on the web for some clue about where to start, patches settings, just a good starting point. I got nowhere - they just aren't available out there anywhere on the web. And the couple I found I would spend 5 minutes twirling knobs and settings and it wouldn't sound anything like the title of the supposed patch. I'm sure somebody loves the ME-70, but it ain't me. These figures will vary depending on the actual conditions of use. Accessories Owner's Manual, Dry Batteries (Alkaline: LR6 (AA) type) x 6, Roland Service (Information Sheet) Options AC Adaptor: BOSS PSA series DELAY: 1-99 ms, 100-990 ms, 1000-6000 ms, ANALOG, MODULATE, REVERSE, CHO + DELAY, MOMENTARY, TAP, PHRASE LOOP

The ME-70 ups the ante on the ME-50 in a number of ways: adding a separate Preamp section, featuring Roland’s terrific sounding COSM amp modeling, four extra presets and one more footswitch—for a total of four. On the other hand, some things have fallen by the wayside; while the Distortion section now has a clean Boost and a setting called Natural, its names are now generic (Metal, Fuzz etc.) as opposed to referencing well-known sounds (Screamer, Muff, etc.)—legal issues, perhaps? Other sections reflect similar changes. Gone are the synth-like Square distortion, and the ring modulator, as well as some pan effects in the delay section, indicating a more conservative approach to effects.Have not been a hardcore Boss pedal fan (been buying pedals since 1969)but I must admit I like the design idea of semi-programmable stompbox format. Not only was there a lot of effects on offer, but also they are all of good quality (at least in the ear of a beginner or an uninformed listener). This is a pedal that I find very generous for the price (even new!) Because it opens up a whole world of possibilities. I use it for three years now (if not more!) And I consider under any circumstances to part with. I hope that in the future, I will get old and die stomping and tweaking this pedal to my life's content....

The expression pedal is solid with several features (Wah, Voice, Whammy, Delay Level and Volume) that make it useful, addictive limit! A / D conversion: 24 bits AF method * AF method ("Adaptive Focus") This is a proprietary method from Roland & BOSS that vastly improves the signal / noise ratio (S / B) A / D converters and N / A. The Expression pedal defaults to a volume control. It also offers toe-switch engaged settings for Wah, Voice (a voice-box sound), and octave up or down Whammy effects. In addition, you can choose to use it to control your modulation rate or delay wet/dry mix.

sometimes sound a little digital ca (not as ca anyway) ... a little less gain, a little bit of eq and the problem is rule! The ME-70 may not have as many amp models and effects as some modern units, but there's nothing important missing; a good core collection of sounds without too many arcane options.

As I said, I use it now for about 3 years and it is a pedal that has never disappointed me. Before I had a small effect in multi Zoom, but frankly it does not face the weight BOSS ME70. Finally, I think that in this multi t reworked everything in sound quality that made default in ME 50 ditto modulation effects (the octave octave walking hell boss what)The ME-70 can be powered either from six AA batteries or a BOSS PSA adaptor. The unit comes with a free set of batteries, but you'll have to buy the adaptor separately, which seems a bit of an odd cost-cutting measure. The Boss Me70 is certainly near the top of its level when compared to other similarly priced units. It is incredibly versatile, with the ability to produce a number of well produced effects and even replace your amplifier if you were particularly desperate. L/R and headphone outputs make this a useful tool for recording, and silent switching as well as an almost non-existent lag time between changing presets makes this an asset to any beginner or semi pro. The six amp models cover the majority of well-known amp styles. They all sound familiar, not just because they're pretty convincing emulations of the real amps, but also because the signature COSM tone has been with us for nearly 15 years now.
