Haven’t smelt Dior Sauvage Elixir… this to me smells like a more wearable toned down Spicebomb (EDT). Dark purple florals and dry pineapple in the dry-down but mainly smooth warm spices and a tiny amount of SWEET tobacco (not oudy). Nighttime. Age 18+. Slightly more ‘masculine’ leaning if that’s how you define your scents but easily Multisex. Good longevity and decent silage. At a point, it’s asif the sweetness is toned down, and you’re left with a matured, unapologetic dark patchouli and a low dose of Vetiver, mixed with a noticeable woody note. But then again, it becomes sweet. Now compared to Angels Share, this has no apple note (to my nose), it's jsut focused on the spice and warmth, it has typical arabian fragrance scent, whereas Angels Share is much sweeter, with that hypnotising boozyness and prominent apple pie. I own and love angels share to bits. that to me, is a strong boozy apple cinnamon vanilla pie in the beginning and dries down a spicy cinnamon vanilla boozy perfume. its one of my favourites and I love gourmands. Fragrance Perfume Smells Simillar to: DiorSauvage Elixirexcept with less of a 'sparkling' effervescent smell. As its own scent, it's very spicy in a warm gourmand way, you mostly get the cinammon on top of the gourmand dates, however it has a very distinct "artificial"(?) spice to it, that leans masculine in my opinion, the type of spiceness that most male fragrances have, for example Montale Arabians Tonka, or MFK Grand Soir. Point is there is a noticable spice there, that is not warm and cozy, but rather just, a bit in your face. The scent is sweet and warm, not too sweet because of that stronger spice, but nice and sweet.

I'm coming in here with no experience with Dior Sauvage Elixir but of course I have the EDT so I have nothing to compare it to except Dior Sauvage EDT. Leans more mature, a little more mature than elixer. Longevity and silage are still above average in my opinion. Elixer I get 12+ hours and can smell it in my clothing days later.

I recommend Asad even as a blind buy especially for the price but this is subject to your own taste or scent preferences, of course. As many may know Sauvage is the French word for 'wild' (this is it's most common meaning, it can also mean 'savage', 'feral' or 'uncivilsed' among other things). Apparently 'asad' is an arabic word for 'lion'. Do you see connection here? Overall, Asad is dry and dusty, and resembles Aurelien Guichard and Nathalie Lorson's This is Him Zadig & Voltaire. Performance is very good. I applied liberally after shower and got 10 hours noticeable performance out of it. Projection is about 1.5 arms length although I do prefer more intimate projection but 2 people immediately noticed at that range and I received one compliment. Can't speak of sillage. Apart from that: Asad is a really good fragrance for the cold season. Well dosed, but not overdosed, the fragrance is well received by other people. Especially if you haven't built up any interpersonal hatred beforehand. For the price, I consciously say that it is a good blind buy candidate.

I haven't had a chance to sample Angel's Share so I have no point of comparison if this is close but Khamrah is so delectably gourmand. You get a big blast of the most scrumptious and photorealistic apple and cinnamon immediately upon spraying. Everytime I catch a whiff of Khamrah I suddenly get an intense craving to stuff my mouth with fresh baked apple pies. And I do. All while mainlining this straight up my nose. It is that good.
