About this deal

The Arizer Air 2 is the updated version of the Arizer Air, the popular “small yet mighty” dry herb vaporiser. What’s the difference from the previous version? The most obvious change is that the Air 2 now features a larger display for precision temperature control, and that it is available in more colours. Some of the most important changes, however, are under the hood. ARIZER AIR 2: A GREAT VAPORISER MADE EVEN BETTER When the original Arizer Air first hit the market, it was a revelation: an affordable, portable vaporizer that punched far above its weight with excellent vapour quality and excellent battery life. And now with the new and improved Air 2, Arizer has made a good thing even better.

However, I do have one issue with the vapor, and that is its smoothness. I find it to be a little scratchy feeling sometimes, not quite as cool and smooth as some of the other good portables I like, but still totally acceptable. The Arizer Solo 2 is the newest model of the popular Arizer Solo. This vape offers almost unparalleled power and battery life, but comes with increased size on top of that. The Air 2 takes a good while to heat up, about over a minute- and that’s definitely much longer than a good number of dry herb vaporizers. However, it does stay cool to the touch while it’s in use, and with draw resistance being really low, you have the option to take huge, lung-filling draws or small, dainty sips. The Solo 2 has a really impressive battery life. A single charge can give you up to 3 hours of vaping. This is really generous. There are two potential downsides to this, though. The first is the increased size; it's a little more bulky than other options (including the Air 2). The other is it takes 3 hours to fully recharge. This is somewhat offset by the ability to use it while it's charging. This is an easy to use vape, there’s really not much to it. It’s got the one button on the front that you hold for a couple of seconds to turn it on, and then you choose from 5 temperature settings. Arizer does use proprietary chargers with this vape but fortunately the unit does have pass-through charging, which means you can turn it on and use it while it’s plugged in. It also has an automatic shut-off feature which turns the heater off after 10 minutes of use, just in case you zone out. For a small portable vaporizer like the Air 2, going from ‘off’ to ‘ready to vape’ in less than 90 seconds is a very welcome feature. Beware of Fakes on Other Marketplaces!

Made from anodized aluminium (and available in two colours), the Air 2 is a sharp-looking device. Its ceramic and stainless heating chamber ensure that it performs as nicely as it looks. 2. Pass-Through-Charging One of the main issues—one not unique to the Solo 2 or even Arizer products—is that the mouthpieces are glass attachments. Depending on how they are carried, these attachments can be prone to breaking, rendering the vape unusable. However, with a bit of care, this can be avoided. The Air 2 follows the original air and it’s definitely an upgrade- with some key Arizer features retained. The Air 2 still sports their signature matte finish and has a newly shaped high-quality borosilicate glass mouthpiece – that aids in making vapor the purest and most flavorful it can be. On the Air 2, there’s definitely more control over the experience with the new three-button interface, the addition of a digital screen, and custom temperatures. These features come alongside the replaceable 18650 battery and a hybrid convection and conduction oven. The oven temperature can be calibrated to the degree and ranges anywhere from 122 to 428 Fahrenheit (50 and 220 Celsius). Simply press the + and – buttons to control the temperature and hold the + button to increase it in 10-degree increments. I found that at 370°F to 390°F, the vapor quality was at its most balanced in density and flavor.Cleaning is a dream with this unit as well! A simple 99% Isopropyl clean and a cotton swab and you are good to go after letting it air out. I highly recommend this unit because if you really want to enjoy your botanicals and really taste the flavours of the terpene profile - then go for this! The IQ won the manufacturing quality, portability, discreetness, and temperature flexibility categories. They tied on vapor quality, ease of use, and battery life. The Air 2 didn’t actually win any of the categories. The DaVinci IQ is a full conduction vaporizer, but it still performs surprisingly well in terms of flavor. I still think the Air 2’s vapor was better in this respect, but the IQ comes close. In my opinion, the IQ’s strength was vapor density. In my opinion, this is definitely worth buying instead of the original Air and is even worth an upgrade to it’s time to replace your original Air.

Don’t get me wrong, the improvements are nice. I just would have liked to see more as well, like even faster heat up times and a more noticeable change to draw restriction. The Air 2 has a temperature range from 50°-220° C. You can select one of the device’s preset settings, or choose your own temperature using the buttons beneath the LED screen. 3. How to Clean It The new and improved device comes with a advanced ceramic hybrid heater, giving the Arizer Air Max rapid heating & precision 1-Degree temperature control with a range of 50°C - 220°C . Glass Aroma TubesCleaning the Air 2 is just as easy as loading it. All you have to do is remove the glass mouthpiece and scrape out any excess material with the stirring tool. Then, use a cotton swab and a bit of isopropyl alcohol to wipe down the tube. The device itself requires no cleaning. What Makes the Arizer Air 2 Popular?
