This lipstick is a beautiful cherry red and looks deeper in person (it looks more scarlet in the photos). I've had this lipstick in my collection for a long time and it's one I always enjoy wearing, especially at this time of year. The palette includes 40 eyeshadows in a wide spectrum of colours, from neutrals, brights and smoky hues. If you are someone who likes to create make-up tutorials, it can be a little bit cumbersome to refer to the back of the palette for the correct shade number.There are some similarities between some of the yellow (11 and 13), orange (19 and 29) and plum (9 and 26) shades in the palette which makes me think NYX could have opted for just one of each of these to make room for some cool purples or icy blues. Shade 36: Talc, Silica, Mineral Oil/Paraffinum Liquidum/Huile Minérale, Synthetic Wax, Magnesium Stearate, Dimethicone, Boron Nitride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Methicone, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Maltodextrin, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polyisobutene, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, BHT, Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate, Phenoxyethanol. Whilst there are some plum shades, I think there is a significant lack in cooler toned purples and icy blues in the palette.

Dare You is a deep, brownish red shade and a nice option if you want an alternative to classic red or orange based red lipsticks. The colors are not bright or expressive even when applied, and the glitter seems to all be the same color. Use the honey, ivory and sand shades to brighten areas like the arch of the brow and the inner corner of the eye; while deeper shades like terracotta, deep red, vibrant blue and muted gold add a vivid flash of colour. I can also see how, with new releases such as Morphe x James Charles palette, this one would be overlooked. Available in six striking colour combinations: Cool Neutrals, Warm Neutrals, Bright and Smokey, Phoenix and Ash - each set features a vivid mix of velvety-rich textures and mesmerizing finishes that range from mattes and satins to shimmers and metallics.We filled up this fall-inspired collection with 40 cool and warm tones—from chocolatey brown and deep teal, to orange and mustard yellow—in stunning matte , metallic and satin finishes. This eyeshadow palette is also perfect to take on the go, as it is compact and easy to carry in your bag. There is also more of a focus on teals and greens, with just a couple of blue-based shades thrown in. I know there are many who feel this makes the palette look cheap, but I am really enjoying being able to see the colors in here. The darker matte shades took a little more work, but I think that’s just either how darker matte shades are/or I just seem to have an issue blending out darker matte shadows myself.

There is some gathering of similar colour families in particular sections of the palette, along with some mixing of shades.
