About this deal

Despite my disappointing review, I’m sure there are other readers who would find this a lot more of a touching read than I did. It’s like she’s accepted that being punched, shoved, tortured will always be her life and she doesn’t plan to do anything about it. I’m not always a fan of this setting, as it can be slightly confusing, but in this instance the author, Laure Van Rensburg has pieced it together perfectly.

Instead the author describes the plushness of the carpet, the skeletal trees in the forest, and just about everything else. They both seem anxious and feel like everything rests on this weekend but the reader is in the dark as to what that is and why. Together, they are driving south from New York for their first vacation: three days in an isolated cabin, far from the city. After finishing this story, I honestly feel that was highly misrepresentative seeing as I’m a fan of both references. She currently lives, loves and explores in The Emerald City, though she'll occasionally make wispy, dream-like plans to move to Mexico, Paris or a Scottish castle one day (if just temporarily).Critics argue that the NSA, and therefore the US, is no longer as significantly ahead of the rest of the world in SIGINT as it once was.

Some much needed ‘alone time’ to explore each other and get to know each other better away from the crowds. But I realize something after reading this book: Sometimes, one has to sacrifice his happy ending for the sake of another's.

I didn't feel like this was a story I had read before maybe just in a different setting, so while it wasn't exactly the most original plot, it was fairly enjoyable. This was the first time the US government publicly acknowledged the use of zero-day exploits in SIGINT. Then, as Kristin got older and studied more, she came to realize there were better ways to effect positive change than becoming president. She plays the innocent young woman with a sort of teenaged wallflower energy because that’s what Steven likes.

That's not to say this was not well written, I just couldn't connect with the pros entirely throughout. On top of being a rapist and groomer, he is also the type of person who needs to be the smartest in the room. There were dark deeds continually uncovered and the author took no pains to hide any of the gruesome discoveries from the reader.Ellie has planned a surprise romantic weekend away for her and Steven to celebrate their 6-month anniversary. As such, if a group discovers a vulnerability in a target's system, it also likely means they've discovered a vulnerability in their own system. Nobody But Us’ is billed as a dark thriller by British-based French-born author, Laure Van Rensburg. Though little appears as it is presented, for their weekend will turn into something far more dangerous.
