Very good book, hopefully when appeal is won it must lead a great deal of change to legislation within law of the criminal justice system, and powers of investigation and witholding of evidence used or unused because the ultimate outcome in a court of law is supposed to be the truth and also LAW ITSELF IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON TRIAL. Having always been very intrigued about the murder of Bob Magill and the unusual details surrounding it (what with it being a local crime and clouded in controversy) I was naturally very keen to read Kevin lanes side of the story. Wouldn’t it be simply unbelievable that I’d choose a car I had been driving my family about in just a few days before? It breaks your heart reading and seeing how many inconsistencies there were I'm Kevin's trial, the evidence was laughable and I'm in no doubt Lane is innocent of this terrible crime. You will be amazed at the behaviour of a some of the detectives in charge of the case, and you will be left shocked at the treatment Kevin received in the various prisons he wrongly spent his years in, but then hugely admire the way he has dealt with this and his injustice over over the years.

Important, alarming and urgent, this powerful book raises many troubling questions not just about the conviction of Kevin Lane but about the criminal justice system. Lane claims that in a previous confrontation, when Lane was 21, he had met Spackman when he was briefly arrested in connection with a car-ringing operation. Kevin was an accomplished boxer and gym fighter and went on to own his own security company in the late 80's. The story is written in the third person, letting us see the story from the perspective of those involved and I feel that a story of this type is best told in this narrative. After a second trial in 1996, Kevin was convicted, by a ten to two majo Kevin Lane was a hard working and high earning young man, with a promising future ahead of him. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Unravel the treachery and see for yourself the injustice that one man has to suffer at the hands of the corrupt justice system. The book leaves the reader with a sense of anger at the injustice that Kevin Lane has had to suffer but also hope, in that he has managed to retain his sense of humour and faith in human nature. Robert Evans, counsel for the two men in that case told the court: “In my opinion, Mr Spackman’s accounts in interview show a history of dishonesty and a history of tampering or falsifying police records in cases he was involved in.

Reckless, despicable, Timion’s own band of mercenary men turn against him, leaving him for dead in a back alleyway.Reading about his conviction despite being innocent, getting mentally tortured in prison, and serveing over twenty years there for a crime he never committed… made me realise how hard life can be but it also taught me one thing- you always rise like a phoenix… from ashes… you can always make a fresh start in life and set an ideal example for others.
