About this deal

this book is amazing for young teenagers it is perfect, there is laughing, crying and DRAMA of course, i would recommend this book to anyone between th age of 11 to 15. Jacqueline is one of the nation’s favourite authors, and her books are loved and cherished by young readers not only in the UK but all over the world. In 2002 Jacqueline was awarded the OBE for services to literacy in schools and from 2005 to 2007 she was the Children’s Laureate. It was mentioned several times that Russell wanted to go further than Ellie, but this wasn't explored in much detail.

Wilson is great at making realistic characters that you can quickly come to term with, giving realistic reactions to events. And Nadine is fed up with the other two lecturing her about the dangers of meeting someone on the Internet. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. no character development, no literature, just dumbed down soap opera for kids with poor language that translates in to a scholastic rating of grade 6-9.Although it was classified as a children's book, because of the content I would say it is a young adult book. All the characters are comical stereotypes of teenage boys and girls (The girls are very emotional and cry and fall out a lot and the boys only talk about sex) and at the end of the book - at the end of the SERIES - she gets back together with the guy who repeatedly tried to pressure her into sex, passed her work off as his own, emotionally abused her and then cheated on her with her best friend. Honestly, it wasn't what I expected it to be, maybe because I'd read Jacqueline's books when I was younger.

Ellie is bubbly fun and worries a little about her weight, Magda attracts all the boys and is like a friend you can always rely on and Nadine is full on goth chick and a little selfish and russel is tall dark and handsome like batman and just a tidg of schoolboy.Of course, you teenagers never think that their parents understand them and, when Ellie’s dad starts to be overly critical of her, she starts to lash out. I wonder if Ellie and Russel will ever get back together, will Ellie and Magda be friends again and will Nadine find mr wonderful she has bee looking for all her life ? Each of them is shedding tears (rivers of them, in fact) and none of them can quite get to grips with the idea that their all-time best mates seem to be so absorbed in their own problems that communication between them is fast breaking down.

Looking bad, it's a perfectly good story (especially across the 4 books) BUT I still remain baffled about what age range these books should be for?At home there's the widowed dad who she feels never appreciated her mother, he is living with his girlfriend Anna and she suspects he's cheating on her with college girls.
