I love this extrait , it make me feel so confortable and remarkable, when i am wearing it a feel the fragrance all the time… the leather, honey, vanilla, incense are amazing, the long lasting is awesome, my girlfriend smelt my neck the next day of i used it, and she could find the dark side. I love the firm language of this creation, it could persuade me to comply ever so easily and effortless.

I found it overall very good and blended beautifully, but personally I was not able to grasp its true character, nor to be captivated by it to the point of surrendering to its evocative power. LONG LASTING EDP (EAU DE PARFUM): Beardo Dark Side is a highly concentrated perfume which lasts longer than an EDT (lower concentration). mins or so pass and it becomes slightly sweeter but that damn iris and other floral notes are shining dammit! It does smell familiar, as I’ve smelled something “natural-like” in similarity from other houses, some with their scents based on “botanical” note blends.Every note is here for a reason, every note has space to breathe, even though there is no empty space in this fragrance!

I have the impression that the honey used would be the material to hide some faults, but which ones . I've only tried The Lover's Tale and The Dark Side so far, and they both had so much complexity that you couldn't really wrap your mind around anything until the day had ended. Fortunately for all of us, this scent has absolutely *nothing* to do with that, but the name did provide an additional layer of interest. Anyway, the perfume opened with a soft sweet scent which was likable, after which it took sharp turn and became something I couldn’t describe which I really find distasteful. As it wanes into the later stages, the "freshness" that's so exciting at the beginning subsides, becoming more powdery and incensy.I particularly love the addition of cedar and vetiver as the fragrance devlops on my skin, which not only stops it from becoming overly sweet but also maintains the dark quality of the overall fragrance. I already own Under My Skin and Sticky Fingers, and I want Angel’s Dust and now this one, The Dark Side. One of those examples where the perfumer's marketing materials do not quite match up with the experience, imo. I smell so many of them that it just overwhelms my senses, if I persist and keep my nose on the spot where I sprayed it I can smell some nice notes like earthy vetiver and cedar and a bit of vanilla.Challenging and abrasive, it's one that will certainly divide opinion as it's a pretty unusual scent and not one you'd wear everyday. The fragrances demands attention, and it is completely capable of speaking its own language, without any interference from the person who is wearing this masterpiece. The violet, subtle fruits, the dry sweaty cedar, balsamic incense notes, the spices, the iris, the leather, the honey - all remind me of different fragrances from the range - from Bois de Violette, Iris Silver Mist, Serge Noire, Feminite du Bois, Miel de Bois, Cuir Mauresque etc. This is hitting a signature for me cause I really enjoy it, it evolves and never comes off the same twice when fully worn. also, no confirmation bias, in fact i was anticipating a new olfactory experience to help me become better versed within the fragrance community but i truly believe this smells familiar (similar to la couche du diable).
