About this deal

Since the publication of his ground-breaking first novel, The Boy in the Dress (2008), Walliams has seen unprecedented growth with global sales exceeding 32 million copies, and his books translated into 53 languages. million viewers, making it the 17th most watched programme on BBC One for the week ending January 3, 2016 and the 21st most watched across all UK TV channels. Despite the book’s length, the large print would make it accessible for older but less keen readers, and the touches of satire could also attract that audience, as well as adults. A stage musical adaptation, based on the book, premiered lyrics by Miranda Cooper with songwriting partner Nick Coler. We have read demon dentist which is quite a dark story if you have a young timid child who is easily scared I would wait, because it could put your child off of the trip to the dentist, now we are reading billionaire boy, and we are enjoying it.

but the difference when compared to the tons of similar stories out there is in its presentation - incredibly witty, funny deliverance when you can really feel the author did enjoy writing this one very much as well as you can glimpse at his life optimism and comedian talent behind (the book’s) every line - and surely appreciate it [the talent].

Billionaire Boy received positive praise from reviews by newspapers such as The Guardian [2] and The Express. Walliams’ books have achieved unprecedented critical acclaim and it comes as no surprise that countless broadsheet reviewers have compared him to his all-time hero, Roald Dahl.

I thought the book was funny in parts, but I think some of David Walliams' jokes and amusing characters could have been cleverer. Their parents can't tell them apart and they are sent to a boot camp in America for juvenile delinquents. He goes to this super-posh school where everyone teases him becouse his dad got rich inventing "Bum-fresh" (LOL). The hilarious, extraordinary but also touching fable of a Billionaire Boy is the new addition from the well-known comedian, turned author, David Walliams. This book is hilarous and quite touching, it’s hilarous me and my friends were literally rolling on the floor. This particular book will not have you or your child roll in laughter as it’s more about exaggeration than anything else. Well, let’s just say that things don’t quite go to plan, and it’s pretty hard to keep the fact you are the world’s riches boy a secret.
