About this deal

It's a book that explores what's needed to stay warm in the cold, in the story she finds a jingly jangly hat, gloves, a woolly scarf, a coat that comes down to her knees and some snow boots. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, no underlining or highlighting of text, and no writing in the margins. I have written and illustrated several picture books, including ‘Betty and the Yeti’, and ‘Darkness Slipped In’, which was highly commended at the British book design and production awards in 2008 and nominated for the Kate Greenaway medal in 2009. In March 2016, the strip was redesigned and written by Hugh Raine, rendered with a loose, pencil line and a cuter character style. Ella comes up with many of her stories while walking the countryside of Dorset where she now lives with her partner, two small children and Daisy the dog.

Please keep in mind that because we deal mostly in used books, any extra components, such as CDs or access codes, are usually not included.

Dust Jackets are not guaranteed and when still present, they will have various degrees of tear and damage.

This is a true bedtime favourite in our house, with rhyming text, lovely illustrations, some humour and of course a appy ending, it has everything my two year old loves in a book. All used books might have various degrees of writing, highliting and wear and tear and possibly be an ex-library with the usual stickers and stamps. I wanted to give as a gift but it was a little torn up so we ended up keeping it and now have two copies which we read all the time.

Betty and the Yeti by Ella Burfoot is a delightful EYFS and KS1 story that is perfect for your polar regions topic! It is Anti-Bullying Week, and I think children are never too young to understand that we must not judge people on appearance or misconceptions. A poor condition book can still make a good reading copy but is generally not collectible unless the item is very scarce. The yeti might look scary but is in fact shy and wants to make friends but people keep running away. But she also draws the cutest rounded characters, which makes her work particularly little-people-friendly.

Additionally make sure your User-Agent is not empty and is something unique and descriptive and try again. Appearing in the comic throughout the year, the strip last appeared in issue 2698, dated 2 April 1994. She is scared at first but soon realises he is feeling a little but vulnerable and decides to help him. The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged.Just as in Darkness Slipped In, she is not shy of using a lot of black in her illustrations, and I love that.
