About this deal

He'd been in the nappies for 12 hours + each time, and there was a slight leak at the top of the nappy around one side, which had seeped a little onto his vest.

We started off with Aldi size 2s and were really impressed with them, so got size 3s when the time came. No leaks, snug fit, enough frills to avoid “poonami overflow” and perfect for my baby’s sensitive skin. Aldi Mamia Premium Dry Fast Size 3 nappies are suitable for babies weighing between 4-9kg (9-20 lbs) and are super stretchy. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. These have a cute pattern ok there with the different animal on the front representing the different sizes, these are very absorbent nappies and I have been very happy with them. This doesn't seem to bother Bert at all, and the change to these new nappies hasn't worried him in the slightest. The nappies go quite high up at the back which minimises the risk of an explosive poop travelling up there. They draw urine away from her only downside is we have had two leaky nappies recently on the number 3 ones not even through the sides or at the top of the nappy.

I think that these nappies are a great lower-cost alternative to their branded contemporaries; they offer a reliable nappy for up to 12 hours, a good fit and design, while best of all saving us parents a pretty penny or two! I don't know why it does this but I just try and change him before he "needs " changing to help eliminate this happening too often, bit harder at night time or car journeys though.

This saving has been a godsend mainly because we are now having to survive as a family on just one wage as I'm no longer working and am at home with Bert full time. I don't think she's even hit the 'minimum' weight for size 4 yet, and she's been in them for over a month! So finding nappies that move with your baby, absorb wee fast and keep poo locked in is a parenting must.

My LO is just coming out of size 2 nappies, we mainly use Aldi's range as they've been great and obviously one of the cheapest around. My baby also seems to not have an issue with them either and have not experienced any nappy rashes whilst using these. For newborn nappies each gush is 30mL, for infant nappies it's 40mL, for crawler nappies it's 50mL, for toddler nappies it's 55mL, for walker nappies it's 60mL and for junior nappies it's 65mL. They are very affordable and I have never had a leaky nappy or my nappy hasn't ripped, I have opened up these nappies thinking my baby has being to the toilet and I have being able to fasten them back up with no issues if baby hadn't gone. Aldi also sell newborn nappies in size 1 and 2, as well as Pull Up style Easy Pants in sizes 5 and 6 for potty training.

Personally I'm not a lover of these nappies, which for me is a shame, as I love aldi products and use every other aldi baby product. We started off using Tesco nappies with my new daughter as these seemed to be the best around five years ago when i had my first. I don’t know if a different factory makes the size 3 and 4s from the earlier stages but the quality definitely wasn’t as good. When we first moved over to them I noticed he leaked a little, but from just letting the tabs slightly overlap there have been no accidents since. They easily last 12 hours for night time sleep without leaking and can even contain a morning poo on top of that.Financially, it is a struggle, but, it is absolutely worth any financial hardship - I keep telling myself that the 5 years up until he goes to full time school will be here far too fast for my liking, and that I just need to concentrate on soaking up and enjoying every single moment of being at home with him, and in the meantime we need to be as sensible as we can with money to make ends meet. Each nappy is at least half the cost of the market leader but functions just as well and in my opinion better than the market leader. And with so many saying they love them, the nappies have been awarded the Netmums Recommended badge. Other brands I found to be leaky and not quite fit right, but aldi really work for us at every stage so far. Gail said: I have no hesitation to say that yes I would choose this product above all others on the market and yes I do think this product should win!
