On the open market, a used set will fetch in the range of between ₩449,581 and ₩559,082 depending on the condition. The detailed reviews give you a much better feel for the set than a mere pro/con list and I for one appreciate the effort CapnRex puts into his reviews. He has a serious, but somehow slightly sombre expression and a huge amount of wrinkles printed on his face which even reaches a point where the horn piece covers up the design. I confess that this may be due to my own prejudices, I've always preferred ships and vehicles to diorama's. These include the sliding doors, the opening cockpit on the Airspeeder, the Lightsaber and Sith lightning storage, and the collapsing window section as well as one or two others.

He wears a brown cape, exactly the same as his Jedi counterparts which did not appear on the other most recent movie Anakin Skywalker Minifigure. I believe it's been used in the Ninjago line too, but this is the first time it's been used for Star Wars! His chair does not spin and his desk is the same design as the ones used in the Venator and the Tantive IV. His torso is printed on only the front sadly, but the cape is present which would obscure the printing anyway.Near this area, there are also two mechanisms that throw Palpatine in the air to imidate his flipping he portrayed in his fighting style during the encounter of the Jedi Masters. Just like Kit Fisto this figure comes with a green lightsaber with a metallic silver hilt as one would expect. There are some black lines which form wrinkles and the dark grey striping which runs down the back of his head just like in the film. One day it may go on sale even cheaper but once it hits a dramatic cheap point, they will likely sell out quickly. I for one appretiate a detailed review and would love to see more of the huw and captrex101 reviews going forward especially on the important sets.

The very compact nose has been emphasised on the figure which looks accurate, but slightly odd in my opinion, however the incredible detail more than makes up for this minor drawback in my opinion.

Star Wars Episode III Palpatine's Arrest set 9526 was released on July 23, 2012, retailing for ₩109,464, it has since been retired. While it's nice to finally have a movie version of Palpatine, I do wish that he would have had a normal face. I think it would have been better if they used the same explosion technique they did for the wall in the Lord of the Rings Helms Deep set.
