We are a fan of David Walliams books but this one was a little different as it wasn't so focused on one child, but rather a team effort to save Woolly the mammoth.a young woolly mammoth, encased in ice, has been discovered and is placed in the museum, Elsie thinks it looks sad and lonely, not unlike herself and with the help of others she brings it back to life. Great for adults to read out loud, brilliant for doing funny voices - and actually great for children to read out loud to adults, too.
