Neither distillery survives today, but there are now four gin distilleries across Liverpool and the Wirral, from Sea Ridge micro distillery to one of the UK's largest producers, Halewood International - makers of Whitley Neill Gin, Dead Man's Fingers Rum, and Liverpool Gin. It’s hard to imagine a gn with this much of a London dry flavor profile would not be an excellent mixer in more complex cocktails, and this one doesn’t disappoint. The base spirit is crucial in ensuring the botanicals have a perfect canvas, as well as for the way Gin complements a mixed drink. The Albert Dock Gin is packed with juniper, coriander, galangal root and kaffir lime leaves making it a classic London Dry with a subtle zingy finish.
