About this deal

In-depth, relatable, and picturesque: Destination NC500 guidebook is 220 pages of the most in-depth, relatable, and picturesque guidebook on the market. This is a fantastic book that details a fantastic journey through some of Scotland’s most inspiring scenery. The book got delivered the other day, not had chance to look through it all yet but from the glance and sections I have read is honestly such an amazing and helpful book with so much information that I would not have thought about for when I do my trip. As a veteran of the NC500 even before it was christened, I love looking and reading about bits I missed and bringing back memories.

I havn’t personally driven the NC500, but I have a clearer Idea of what awaits thanks to this painstakingly assembled book. Awesome book great information especially for someone like me just waiting to pick up my first campervan at the age of 57 knowing where to go and get rid of waste is brilliant also the rest of the information is amazing. Produced with care: During the production of this guidebook, the authors spent four months living on the NC500 route, turning over every rock and leaf to ensure that all the best-hidden sights and attractions that the NC500 has to offer are included. We have just completed the NC500, the book was a god send, it pointed out places to visit, eat and diesel stops as well as finding our own, we didn’t do much planning, we are both 66 and we had decide now was the time to go, so we borrowed a tent of our son and off we went and as we went round the coast the more we got into it, what a amazing place, it has taken us 10 days luckily we have no time restrictions, we are now in Skye thinking what a fantastic adventure, something we have never had the chance to do before. Must-know Details: Detailing campervan facility locations, the best restaurants, cafes, and bars, accommodation options across the route, from hotels to campsites, and over 110 of the best sights to see on the North Coast 500.

The information is extremely helpful for Motorhome owners, as we are, and what with the wonderful photographs, well, it’s given us even more incentive to travel and visit the NC500 as soon as we can find a fortnight or so, spare days to do so. I've tried to take pictures of the pages I was most appreciative for (very poorly taken I know but hey, I don't profess to be a photographer), and I really would, and do, highly suggest this book if you are thinking of doing the route. Thank you for making such a good book and we highly recommend your YouTube channel, everyone go subscribe now! However when it arrived I got into it very quickly and started in my mind , my own trips on the nc500 using the book all the way. It was lovely to receive our copy of Destination NC 500, I love the extra effort for the tiny details of having the book wrapped. The way each area of the NC500 has been presented only inspires me even more to tick off another of my bucket list. We bought our van in November 2021 after many months of contemplation and started to follow highlands2hammocks for some trip inspiration – I bought your book for my husband for Christmas and we are now planning our first significant trip north to do the NC500!

The book covers hotels and campsites for walkers and hikers alike meaning the book is not just for Motorcaravan owners like us. We have over the years visited many parts of Scotland and experienced all weathers, even trout and salmon fishing on North Uist in a Force 7 in a boat – must have been mad as we broke the oar and had to drift to shore and walk back to the car.Even as I opened it, I was impressed by the feel of quality of the materials used for the cover and the pages. You can be certain that this book will not be very far from our side during both the planning and execution of the trip. What is we run out of fuel, how do we know where we can and can't explore, what about hygiene and facilities, are there plenty of supermarkets, how do we know where the most breathtaking views are.

I have been to Sutherland and and stayed at Kylesku 3 times and explored some of the surrounding areas but want to explore more I thought there guide would be of great help and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. And for my first book I was blown away the amount of work and detail put into the book is out of this world. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. This book is amazing, I had Soooo many questions whilst considering taking this road trip, where would we stay? With detailed maps, insider tips, and captivating descriptions, this guide unveils the stunning landscapes, historic landmarks, and hidden treasures along this iconic 500-mile route. In the summer of 2016 I visited the western part of the NC500 together with my son for two weeks, my wife joined us for another week (from Inverness to Glen Affric, Durness, Old Man of Stoer, Ullapool, Isle of Skye, Fort William, Glencoe, Loch Awe an then back home).
