If this is the first then that would be great, but I doubt it will, and what I suspect will happen is that more American parents will panic about their kids being corrupted. It’s bizarre how a series that is only thirty-seven episodes long manages to contain an extensive amount of story as well as continusiouly change its character; and while at times elements of the series may seem slow paced they do nothing but build-up to the events of another death, or trick, being played out by the key characters. One the one hand, he is an egotistical, draconian serial killer with a messiah complex who is responsible for the deaths of millions over his lifetime, and is so ruthless he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Blu-ray is a high definition format, and you would think that only anime created at high definition would be best served by that format.Then again, you can argue that while Light is in a way well-intentioned, he is corrupted by his powers and misguided by his own ideas. For instance just as things begin to settle between Light and L – with both parties investigations coming to a stalemate – another Death Note wielder appears on scene and begins to stir things up. Sure enough small amounts of grain can be seen in certain scenes; but this is unavoidable due to the age of the series and, in some aspects at least, can add to the overall experience – as Death Note was a relatively grainy show at times. Outside of anime, he is data specialist for the British Comedy Guide, is QI's most pedantic viewer, has written questions for both The Wall and Richard Osman's House of Games, and has been a contestant on Mastermind.

Just a couple days ago Netflix released the trailer for the American movie adaptation they have been working on, so that shows how much the show is still growing outside the regular fandom. As the story continues, the battle between Light and L intensifies as the viewer tries to figure out what will happen: will Light be caught, or will he be able to discover L’s real name and put in the Death Note? Instead we are treated to the two OVA films – which re tell the events of the anime series with newly drawn animation.Then I realised that actually Death Note’s manga was created a couple years before Code Geass started airing, so it might be the other way around though.
