There are a few things that grab me about this series: it's hilarious yet manages a seriousness that is, at once, angst riddled, philosophical, and touching.

Kubo does an excellent job of establishing characters (from the protagonist to his family, friends at school, and non-canonical (alas) future wife, to one-off villains, Kon, and the whole Urahara gang) and their motives in a memorable and interesting way. Zombiepowder was rejected multiple times until Kubo was 22, when it finally was accepted by Shonen Jump. The final battle nears, and it will require every ounce of strength Ichigo and his friends have to win against an omnipotent enemy.

I've seen the Bleach anime twice through and was desperate to re-live the world of Bleach, reading the manga cured that urged i had.

I can personally say its a good acceptance for this story (since this is his second created-own series) but where does it lead, well.Her brethren at the Soul Society are quite displeased with the fact that she transferred the powers of a Soul Reaper to a human and have dispatched two of their strongest agents to neutralize the situation. The mango style also grows on you as there are a limited number of characters that are drawn traditionally manga (mostly the female variety). Since I’m so familiar with this series because of how nostalgic and important it is to me, I’m not sure what to say except that I enjoyed this.

It’s 75 volumes in total and if you get the 3-in-1 versions (like my library did), it’s around 25 books. Grade C = Slightly more "loved", possible loose pages, but still complete enough to display or collect. Now that some of the Thousand Year Blood War has been animated, plus I recently rematched the anime openings and wanted to get back into the series again, so I decided to rematch the anime, then I decided to read the manga instead since I have the manga series and I’m glad I did.Meanwhile the mastermind behind the chaos in the Seireitei is about to be revealed, but will the truth spell the end of the Soul Society? And Soul Reapers who would normally wouldn’t have anything to do with each other now fight side by side as Kenpachi and Mayuri take on a truly monstrous Quincy.

When I realized that I was watching the later episodes, I got on my computer to see if I could watch what I missed, so I did and by the time I was caught up, I wanted more, so I looked for the subbed one but didn’t enjoy it as much as when I watched those again in English when those were available because Johnny Young Bosch is Ichigo, his voice suits him perfectly, just like Vic Mignogna’s voice suits Edward Elric perfectly. I watched a portion of the episode where Ichigo uses his bankai for the first time ages ago and felt a bit cavalier and thought that maybe I'd get into the series sometime.
