After three years of careful ageing in mixed oak barrels and bottle, soft tannins weave through the lush black fruit base, balanced by notes of cacao, roasted hazelnut and a touch of pepper.

Famous for its wines made from a blend of red grapes dominated by Tempranillo and Garnacha, or Grenache, modern incarnations of Rioja are bright and laden with red-fruit character, underpinned by sweet spice and vanilla. It is persistent and well structured, spicy and well polished, which can accompany many dishes of different styles, from roasted to cured cheeses, through Iberian sausages or lamb chops. Intense and long aromas of spices such as vanilla and cinnamon, mixing with notes of black fruit over a base of balsamic and minerals. They were the first winery in Europe to gain LEED - Leader in Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Design, and a number of their vineyards are certified organic. Made exclusively from sustainably sourced, premium quality tempranillo, graciano and mazeulo grapes, the Beronia Crianza is a bright and fresh red wine full of cherry fruits and raspberries, sweet clove spice and threads of rosemary and thyme.On the palate, it has a meaty, well-structured feel with black fruits standing out, along with notes of cocoa, mint and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it is equally complex, with sweet flavours of vanilla and milk chocolate, from the American oak, standing out.

After a one-year break, the wine goes into mixed barrels, with staves of American oak and French oak bottoms that help the Beronia acquire its distinctive aging aromas. The winery was founded in 1973 by a group of local businessmen whose great love of food and wine attracted them to the idea of producing their own Rioja. In the finish, this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of La Rioja finally inspires with considerable length.
