Layered with cocoa butter after a shower, it's a simple, sweet musky scent that seems to attract men. It smells like opening a swiss-miss hot cocoa packets with those strange little crunchy mini marshmallows.

Not really in a this stinks way but more like I'm sniffing a milk shake and can tell by the smell I wouldn't like the taste/it would give me a stomach ache. A lot of chocolate scents I've come across will have so many other notes going on, the chocolate ends up being pushed to the background, or not smelling like the milk chocolate experience I'm looking for.I like the chocolate/vanilla sweet notes but something about this makes it somewhat unpleasant for me. Within a few hours, I'm left only with a faint warmth on skin (neutered, buttery musk) but little of the sweet artificial vanilla extract I get as the initial note. This smells strongly of vanilla extract, not really the chocolate chip cookie smell everyone is raving about. I haven't eaten a bowl of Cocoa Puffs since I was a teenager, but it's a scent you never forget once you're familiar with it, and the pillowy wafts of Choco Musk that bloomed off of my skin brought with them a wave of intense nostalgia. Which I don't know how people were saying that, seeing as it's not at all complex enough of a fragrance to house all of that.

Compared to Al nuam (Chocolate musk), it is more in the spirit of milk chocolate, underlined by fine vanilla. Although it is nowhere near as powerful or expensive-smelling, there is a resemblance to the caramelized vanilla-musk accord in Tihota. There's some sort of dry nuttiness (reminiscent of brazil nuts) as well that I've noticed in other synthetic chocolate scents like Somethin' Special's Chocolate Drizzle. A reaction or irritation to fragrance oils is very rare; however please take the necessary precautions .The perfume is full of luring tones, dominated by a delicious vanilla with a sinfully irritating chocolate praline. It is true that you will smell like cookies, I received a compliment and the "you smell like cookies" comment and I had to laugh because of all the comments on this fragrance. the chocolate does fade after an hour or so and starts to turn to this beautiful vanilla which i really love. The cinnamon and spices are the dessert types of spice and I think there is a subtle tiny tiny amount of rose tickling all of the other notes.

As a gourmand girlie, based on the notes, I should’ve loved this, but the notes aren’t very well done (I guess that’s what you risk getting with a low-cost scent).While those who value presentation might be a bit disappointed (there are no super-thick cardboard boxes here, and the cap is clearly made of a lightweight plastic), I wasn't bothered by those things. I got so fed up with the thing that I just shoved it away in a drawer for a few months to macerate while I experimented with other fragrances. On first spray I smelled a creamy chocolate caramel, vanilla scent, I loved the way it smells but when it started to dry down. Edit: After a couple days the top I sprayed it on is smelling super sweet now, sweet not in a natural gourmand way though, kinda synthetic. My partner said it smelled like waffle cones and made him hungry 😂 Definitely sweet and a gourmond if there's ever been one, but I don't find it cloying or nauseating in the way that many true gourmonds like this can go for me. If they're there to anchor the scent and add some depth and longevity without being noticed, then they're doing their job, and I'm fine with that. For the production of fine perfume oils and attar Al-Rehab uses high quality ingredients and essences. In the drydown, I also smell some flowers - but mostly I get the chocolate cookie scent all the time, there´s really nothing more to add.The Choco Musk Perfume Oil not only has a lovely scent on its own, but it also can be layered beautifully with spicy or woody scents to provide a distinctive aroma that is truly your own.
