There are loads of moving parts and a couple of usable cupboards as well as the extending ladder on a turntable. Six extraordinary blocks are included in each expansion pack, and each are much better than standard building blocks as these light up in bright colours! There are so many things to build and once you have run out of ideas, you could always get the expansion packs for even more light building fun.

As long as one brick is connected to the base and the others are connected directly or indirectly to it, they will all light up. There's so much variety that you really can find a set to do what you want with just about any build. So, we learn everything we can about our products and create our own photos, descriptions, and videos that let you see all aspects of each item. Each set of Light Stax contains 6 different colors of bricks that allow you to construct all kinds of creations.Whenever a block is touching the black base, it will light up and pass on power to any other blocks connected to it. If you press the button to the front of the base it will switch between, lights on, blinking, glowing and the shut down mode which turns the power off after 15 minutes. Just a note for anyone with less grip or finger dexterity, they take a bit of effort to pull apart and push together. We have found some amazing building blocks with a difference and the Light Stax Expansion Packs are just what you need to build an even bigger glowing creation! You can use them to build imaginative light creations but you can also light up your own collection of building blocks.

If you press it again, it will cycle through the light modes which include: always on, 15 min auto-off, flashing, and fading. Light Stax will also connect to the Lego and Duplo bricks you already own, so you can really make some grand and glowing structures. With this 4×4 battery brick LIGHT STAX works both with and without wires and has multiple lighting modes. The Hybrid Light Up Fire Truck has 189 regular interlocking bricks and 27 special Stax bricks which are powered, including a Sound Stax.

You have to be considerate of where Sound Stax and Light Stax are placed to get the best benefit and you need to keep a continuous path from the power brick to any light up areas, but otherwise the world is your oyster. A base plate powers the 36 individual bricks and can be powered with the included USB cable or with 3 AAA batteries for on-the-go fun. We were both really impressed with the Light Stax - and yet we were both very sceptical before we tried them.
