There was a lot going on in the book with Jade believing she had cancer, her mom having cancer, her dad being a dick, her being sexually assaulted and the whole bathtub thing which I’m still not sure what’s going on with that. I also loved the forbidden trope between them, especially with all the secret glances and touches they gave each other around their friends. I could keep on rambling for hours about how much I loved it but I know it wouldn't do it justice, and I'd end up spoiling it out for you so I'll let you experience it for yourselves!

Jade and Prescott’s personal stories are gritty, complex, and just as (if not more) thought-provoking as some of the previous books in Blairwood University. From someone who has not read the other books, I can confirm that you will not feel lost if you chose to read this one first. I wish we could‘ve explored it a little bit more in book one but I bet we‘ll get to see more in book two. While I had expected the ending to go pretty much the way it did, I still have so many questions and will no doubt be put through an emotional wringer in the next book. How does he not learn from experience considering our own meet-cute last semester almost got us expelled?

It is good to read Jade's story as I had been eager to find out about her since she was introduced in the series. This book starts right where the previous ended, that is Jade breaking her secret in front of her love, her brother and her best friend. But when one stolen, steamy moment morphs into more, and then so much more, they both agree that a little physical release, and nothing more, is something they need and want. Challenging them at every single step, growing stronger every second and finally overcoming every hard steps in their lives.

This book picks up right where part one left off at, and man, when this author wants to pack a punch, she definitely packs it.Oh and maybe have a box of tissues on hand for this one, cause they’ll be plenty of tears as the emotions rise off each page. I have said it before and I shall say it again, this author is a complete expert when it comes to new adult romances that have characters who are exceptionally likable and incredibly easy to relate to. Fortunately, the second and final installment will release in a few short weeks because I am desperate to find out what will happen next. I also would recommend reading the series prior - especially Kiss To Forget, because that's where Jade is first introduced and gives us a better understanding of her world and what she's been through.

This is a brother's best friend's, enemies to lovers, college sport romance, Prescott and Jade's story was enthralling, it kept me reading from start to finish. And even if they attempt to go a separate way, their paths just cross time and time again and they are just meant to be together and ultimately this book made them and their romance stronger. I love the build up of the story, the snarky comebacks, the push and pull, the angst and the jealousy.Prescott’s demons hurt my heart because I’ve seen these demons in person and it's not a pretty sight, but I was so relieved that when he reached the bottom, he looked in the mirror he knew it was time to stop this cycle. Jade and Prescott’s story has been one that’s been hinted at a little in the past few books of the Blairwood University series, and even more so in the novella, Kiss Me Forever.
