We followed the guides out, and you could tell by the strength of the whitewater alone that it was rough. It will make your kayak easily managable on your own which gives more freedom for when you want to go kayaking. since then I have recommended GoSea to two friends, one who has a perception Scooter but wanted a fishing kayak so got a GoSea Stealth (he prefers it to the scooter for all round paddling)and the other got the Compact like mine.

By the way I have nothing to do with Go Sea, I am currently paddling an RTM Abaco and a Native Watercraft Slayer so I have no bias. The kayak is light, easy to get on and off my car which is a big bonus for me as when I go to the beach with my wife and two small children there is lots to carry.
There are actually very few bad reviews of our kayaks and accessories out there, but these two do seem to keep rearing their heads. So we do take every bit of feedback we receive seriously, we listen and act to put things right in any way we can. The thrill and experience of sea kayaking isn’t just for experts… however if your expedition requires a map, then you’re going to need the added speed, comfort and storage found in the Essence range. I did say above that I was in an iconic kayak and thats because I'm paddling a Valley Nordkapp, a design that set the foundations for all modern sea kayaks and a kayak that has been in production since 1975 and is still going strong! OK so the Gosea is not quite as stable as the Malibu (I am a large lad at 17 stone) but it rides a swell well enough, is considerably quicker than the Malibu and comes fully equipped as standard.The office trailer was covered in beautiful ocean murals, and the equipment was both clean and well-kept. There is nothing more cleansing and invigorating than the sea… there must be something in the water!
It is very easy to carry due to the conveniently located side handles plus the two extra at the bow and stern. Spec wise, it seems to measure up to other more expensive kayaks, but heavier, which doesn't alarm me. No matter how far you’re paddling or how extreme the conditions, a performance fit is essential in optimising paddler control. The kayak has a low rear deck for easy rolling, a keyhole cockpit that gives excellent grip, control and allows quick exit if need be. While out on the water, we overheard multiple couples asking each other when we would go back to shore because it was too rough.
