There are quiet a few twists and turns and secrets revealed across the book which keeps it really interesting.Maddy was looking at her through the dimmed inside lights, skin screwed up around her sandy-­brown eyes. kind of made me want to throw her outside the RV as well because what do you mean you have a really big secret that no one can know but it's not you that the sniper wants?

If you’re looking for books to give readers in your life, we can’t recommend these ten books enough. but the reason i gave it 4 stars is bc the story goes so fast and it’s incredibly enjoyable even with some of the characters driving me crazy and i actually quite enjoyed it. The secrets, suspense and action pushes you to read the entire book in just one sitting, proving yet again Jackson is the queen of young adult novels. The book is written in third pov and there were less narrations and more dialogues which made it a very easy read. Oliver is a complete psychopath, and I'm sure that he was acting out of fear, but still, that was crazy, and so is he. Hints of romance and a hopeful resolution help buoy unrelenting violent action, a tense atmosphere, and a melancholic tone.

The first night of their trip, they lose signal on their GPS and end up lost off a dirt and gravel road. Red is my favourite character in the book, full of mystery and intrigue and the way her character is written makes you just not quiet sure about her and what she knows.being stuck in a 31-foot rv (which red made sure that WE ALL KNEW) + having the entire thing take place in just a couple of hours makes it impossible for the characters to develop. By the end of the book I understood his purpose, but it was hard at some points fighting through to get to that purpose. To live in that warm house as though it belonged to her, to have everything they had and everything she didn’t anymore.
