I feel the creators of this series did their homework and put a lot of effort into showing the dinosaurs as more than just big terrible lizards.

Side note, it's neat that the author of the book has assistance with the dino science aspect of the series from a bona-fide paleontologist, Shin-ichi Fujiwara.Frieren is still going strong continuing from last season, but The Dangers in My Heart is the one stealing the spotlight!

Dinosaur Sanctuary is a manga series written and illustrated by Itaru Kinoshita that debuted in 2021 in Monthly Comic Bunch. On top of that, the stories all feature little panels cutting to general activity in the sanctuary; incidental moments showing the dinosaurs getting on with their lives. Through breeding and genetic manipulation, dinosaur populations increased and dino-mania reached a fever pitch worldwide. The artwork is amazing (especially when it comes to the representation of the creatures) and the story is interesting enough to make you turn another page. However, for membership rank calculation, the monthly purchase amount is calculated based on the eBook's release date.However, this is fixed in later chapters, showing adult Tyrannosaurus as sparsely-feathered as they should. At first dinosaur zoos were a huge hit, but a major, undisclosed disaster (presumably à la Jurassic Park) resulted in a loss of public interest. I think my favourite story focuses on a triceratops, a once famous dinosaur that lost his time in the spotlight after injuring himself and loosing one of his horns. There obviously wasn't a lot in this first volume other than introducing characters (including dinos) and setting the scene, but there's a great little teaser at the end that will leave you wanting more.

Based on what has been presented in volume one so far, that seems to be the path that Dinosaur Sanctuary will be treading. When Kaidou, who was there to witness it, opens up about what happened, the rookie keeper Suma Suzume learns more about the disaster–and her coworker–than she ever expected.While he's incredibly competent in veterinary practice, he's also condescending, arrogant and mean-spirited.
