Today, we’re going to put the new Cricut Hat Press to the test and try it on a wide variety of DIY hats so we can see what works and what doesn’t. Note: While designs smaller than this may also be transferred, be aware that very thin lines of iron-on (HTV) may not transfer successfully. I’ve also been thinking that the Hat Press and form would be AWESOME for adding designs to sleeves and can’t wait to try that. This makes the pressing process easier because you get the best results by having your whole image being pressed at the same time. The ceramic coated plate features 3 heat settings with heat up to to so you can adjust for different bases and materials.
I did have to press this twice to get the carrier sheet to remove, but overall, I am super happy with the results. Included is an insulated safety base to protect your work surface and auto off feature for safe, worry free crafting. If you leave the carrier sheet on all the way around, then you won’t run the risk of damaging your iron-on. With a curved, ceramic heat plate and 3 levels of heat up to 205°C (400℉), Cricut's Hat Press™ makes consistent, wrinkle-free heat transfers easy. Severe nut allergies, particularly those that react to the shell of the nut, not just the core should be aware that the hat stay does contain these.You will need to turn on your hat press so the app can find it (yay for wireless technology) but the app will walk you through all the steps. This will be included within your account minimum payment request every month and cannot be repaid using Take 3. There are three different temperature settings and the lines at the bottom represent the levels of heat.
