About this deal

I got held up for a long time and then time was even added on to the date they gave me but I finally got it and I really liked The sound but they had sent me a unit that was supposed to stay on the Chinese mainland, all the commands were foreign to me and there was no changing language. Seems like they hit the jackpot with the input circuit, regarding attack/sustain/decay it feels very nice, close to a real preamp. Id go for the hx stomp, nux sent me an mg30 and id say they're ok, whereas the Line 6 stuff does hold up really well with all the expensive stuff. Quote from: Grantymc on May 03, 2023, 02:29:05 PMEuphonic, I made an account to say cheers for this - the issue has been driving me crazy all week! The corrected one and another where I changed exactly three setting quite heavy handed: I pushed Bias to the max (biggest effect).

So easy to use - I haven’t actually looked at the manual yet, ten minutes prodding and pushing and it’s pretty obvious what does what. Done something similar with the Valeton GP100, whose left and right outputs can be differentiated as enabling an IR or not. A said I really like the amp sounds, 5150 is huge, Marshalls are really close to the real thing, recti sounds great, Fenders sound great. And beware the "volume" matter (just increasing 1 or 2 dB the volume or the treble frequencies will mislead your judgement because you will like more that louder preset). It doesn't make a difference in how it sounds obviously, but it adds a sense of interaction to the experience that makes it way more enjoyable to tweak the thing compared to the, for example, boring red horizontal scroll bars on other modelers *cough Helix cough*.However, my (and many others) QuickTone app could not recognize the MG-30 until I updated the firmware. Pretty useful on stage and in the case of the MG30, the sound doesn't seem fake or tiny compared to a real amp played in the same time. Still no flat frequency response from the MG30, even all effects are still disabled and all EQ controls are still at noon. With its highly readable 4-inch color LCD display, navigation joystick and quality knobs, you have clear and easy control over your presets and all on-board simulation settings.

An effects loop allows you to integrate your favorite effects pedals into your signal chain with ease and choose their position in the sound chain. I could go back and forth between real tube preamp and digital sim with minimal differences in this case. Its got plenty of options for routing out of the pedal and sounds great whether gigging or using it as a direct input into the desk recording.V battery in a plastic ammo case with a small circuitboard housing two 7809 voltage regulators and connectors on the outside. A thing that I do is sending NUX FX's to a real tube amp through the "send" jack plug, while the same FX's are sent simultaneously to a digital amp model in the MG30, itself plugged direct to the board. I power my Friedman wah with 2 18650’s in series, And I power larger collections of pedals with 2 cellphone backup batteries also in series.

Lots of "body" in the tone and it loves harmonics, which is where most modelers usually get disqualified. I really liked the patches that people made, And I think mine may have had some other people that may have been more geared toward their mainland stars, but there was a lot of good stuff in there, out of the box. I guess the difference can be put down to luxury pricing for musician gear and commodity pricing for phone accessories. I've played with a head rush and yes it's better but, you can't beat the bang you get for your bucks with this.Legendary Guitar Amps - Not only does the MG-30 have effects on-board, but it also has 25 different amp emulations meaning you could play a gig with just this unit and your guitar. But its lower input impedance makes this input a bit dull for guitars, so it's not really an alternative to the main guitar input. My idea was that some high gain models tend to share the same bassrange in the MG30, suggesting that the seeds of OT modeling were already present in older models - and once again, real amps can behave like that. A typical stage sound: most instruments are midrangy…where in the foh mix only vocals/snare and guitar live in that freq.
