About this deal

He is known for his illustrations for Lightning Girl by Alesha Dixon, the Avengers Assembly graphic novels, Max Einstein by James Patterson and many others. If I fail, it's life or death, but still you get up, because there is immense joy in every day that she brings to us, and now she gets to share her light with us.

Professor Noel Fitzpatrick has been at the forefront of ground-breaking veterinary surgery for decades now, pioneering neuro-orthopaedic surgeries for animals and promoting an idea he terms ‘One Medicine with his Humanimal Trust’ (more about that to follow). What is in no doubt is Fitzpatrick’s deep love for and connection to animals, and his dedication to advancing not just their health outcomes, but fusing the health care of humans and animals for the greater good of all. The veterinary surgeon went on: “I tell it all, and the other thing was, I wanted to be 100 percent honest about where I think my profession is and what I’ve dedicated my life to, and if I was going to be totally honest about everything, I had to be honest about everything. Picking up from where How Animals Saved My Life left off, Noels shares some moving, heart-warming, tear-jerking and often eye-brow-raising stories of the animals he has treated in his career. Bringing the narrative of his many books to life, Noel entertains and engages audiences to a powerful soundtrack of stories, anecdotes and a vision for the future, reinforcing his strong belief that medicine can be as uplifting as music and that both can actually save our lives.Discover the incredible stories of the brave animals he has worked with, from Peanut, the world's first cat with two front bionic limbs, to Betsy, the six-month-old cockapoo, who was given a new lease of life when her crushed paw was replaced with a skateboard wheel! For more great live sessions and interviews listen to The Chris Evans Breakfast Show with cinch weekdays from 6:30am on Virgin Radio, or catch up on-demand here . I want to make people experience what it was like to be in a loving relationship, which is unconditional, and then translate that out into the world. Supervet" Noel Fitzpatrick has penned a “beautiful” new illustrated story for Christmas to be published by Orion.

As he explores how our relationships with animals can bring out the best in each of us, we meet some of the wonderful animals he has tried to help, the families who love them and the deeply personal challenges Noel has faced along the way. Sunday Times bestseller Listening to the Animals was about Noel’s path to becoming The Supervet, then How Animals Saved My Life is about what it’s like to actually be The Supervet. I have cried, laughed, despaired and felt the radiant light of eternal hope as I held her paw and she guided me through these words, which we have written for you in our book. When Noel was struggling in life, it was Kiera who he turned to to help him through the difficult times. Globally recognised for his innovative surgical solutions for animals, Noel has developed dozens of new techniques, including several world-firsts. He told Chris: “It’s going to be the most raw, most truthful, most honest consulting room that ever happened in the United Kingdom and I can’t wait! Thank you Keira for helping me believe that anything is possible if your dreams are big enough and thank you for sharing your light with all of us….

I never quite understood the bond between owner and pet and, unfortunately, on more than one occasion, I probably didn’t have the empathetic ear that was required when a friend’s dog was sick or died.He says he felt his dog’s presence at that moment — “I surrendered once again to her love and let her in” — and that’s when he got the idea for the book. It is animals like these who have taught Noel the valuable lessons of Love, Hope and Faith - lessons that have sustained him in his life beyond being the Supervet. The story moves from her taking a little boy, in me, and allowing me to see the joy in a soggy tennis ball in the rain, and everything that happens along the way, which of course ends with her heart stopping in my hand.
