Capable of stereo or mono operation, the MA400 is a powerful little mixer that allows you to control two independent sources, a microphone and the monitor feed from your main mixer. You can even use studio-grade condenser mics, as the MA400 will pass +48 V phantom power, if your mixer is so equipped. You can let your singer or other musician dial in as much "me" as they want, without affecting the rest of the band. Equipped with flexible mic in and mic through XLR connectors with a ground lift switch this headphone amplifier contains a stereo monitor input with a dedicated monitor level control and a mono/stereo switch. Great if it will be set once and left alone, NOT ideal if you are traveling and are going Venue to Venue.The material covered in the lectures will be totalling to an amount of roughly 30 hours of lecturing.

I had the volume wide open on my audio interface with a stereo audio cable from it's headphone jack run into the monitor input of the MicroMON and I only needed the monitor level cranked below the half-way point (it was more than enough - anymore, and I would need hearing aids after a recording session). If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. The only complaint I'd have is the NON UK plug which is provided with an adapter but most band members will probably have a multi powersupply to power thier pedals so should be able to power this direct from that rather then requiring yet another power outlet at thier feet.

Using these, we were able to give each person volume control over their own monitor, plus volume control over their own mic/instrument in their earphones. Thankfully it's not an expensive product, so I couldn't get too upset about it not working correctly.
