About this deal

His passion and spirit is what people have fallen most in love with, having witnessed it first-hand via his knowledgeable yet humorous appearances on the series. This book was bought for me as I'm a fan of the TV show, Clarkson's Farm, in which sidekick farmhand Kaleb Cooper is portrayed as a clueless idiot who knows nothing about anything other than farming.

His passion has since led to him to go into partnership with a close friend, supporting the farmer in getting more milk in the tank by purchasing some of his own dairy cows to add to his herd. While he’s there, he’ll probably be working because he’s so busy, so just give him a hand lifting them gates while you’re talking to him and see if you can get a job, or just chat generally about what you’re interested in and be interested in what he/she is doing. We’re really good friends, apart from the arguing – we may stop talking to each other for a day or two after our argument, but that’s completely normal, we’re used to that. Endless pointless lists about pretty much nothing in the first half, and the second half doesn’t get much better! A very easy read with humour and lots of lovely pictures, written in a way that it's just Kaleb reading it to you.Biography: Kaleb Cooper is a farming contractor from Oxfordshire in the UK who plays a central advisory role to Jeremy Clarkson in the Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, the second season of which will air in early 2023. We caught up with Kaleb to find out more about the book, his upcoming tour, and his thoughts on the challenges facing farmers. I decided to try this audiobook after loving the Clarkson’s Farm series and book and thought it would be a similar vibe.

One that I’m cursing as my cousin wakes me up at 5:30 on a Sunday morning as he drives the telehandler past my door on the way to knock the house next door down. These adverts enable local businesses to get in front of their target audience – the local community. Dubbed 'the real star of Clarkson's Farm ', Kaleb reveals his true, loveable, funny and down-to-earth self, with deadpan gags and unique observations that will have you crying with laughter.

Kaleb is quick to say that although it would be great for his children to follow his farming passion, he would never want to force them into agriculture, although he would not be keen on them moving to London, he jokes.

Now, he has released his second book – which looks at British traditions such as cheese rolling and gravy wrestling. Kaleb Cooper is a farming contractor from Oxfordshire in the UK who plays a central advisory role to Jeremy Clarkson in the Prime Video series Clarkson's Farm, the second season of which will air in early 2023. Whilst he’s known for not travelling, Kaleb is set to tour the UK to see firsthand some of the places in his new book, and “have a chinwag” with audiences about farming. Some of the banalities fall a bit flat but there is something very refreshing about a member of Generation Z saying that he doesn’t have a view on Greta Thunberg because he has never heard of her. Chipping Norton's celebrity farmer Kaleb Cooper has strong views on lots of things: sheep ('suicidal morons'), Jeremy Clarkson ('there are two types of farming unless you count whatever it is Jeremy thinks he's doing'), goats ('they're a proper good clear-up animal, they eat everything - no wonder they taste horrible'), New York ('if it's like London, where there are no tractors, that's no good') and more.Come down the travelators, exit Sainsbury's, turn right and follow the pedestrianised walkway to Crown Walk and turn right - and Coles will be right in front of you. He added that at the beginning it should not matter how much money you are earning, it is all about the experience you are able to get on-farm. I will leave you with my favourite quote from the book: ‘You give a sheep a choice between life and death, and it’ll look at one, and then at the other, and then it’ll run towards death every time.

Nor gender fluidity, which would no doubt be beyond his frame of reference in the farmyard, though he does display an androgynously millennial approach to the question of hairstyles as we witness the Cooper bonce (“blond or ginger, ok strawberry blond”) going through various perms and man-buns when not in its natural rustic thatch. Kaleb speaks on a wide variety of topics concerning his expertise as a farmer and his newfound experience as a celebrity. I’ve always remembered, at the back of your head you can set a goal or a dream, and just remember, dreams don’t work unless you do. As a farmer, you very much stay in the countryside all your life and witness the most amazing view I think. I think every farmer out there is thinking right, the weather’s gonna be bad this year, next year might be worse. It is important that we continue to promote these adverts as our local businesses need as much support as possible during these challenging times. I get a nosebleed going to Oxford but I’ve learned that clears up quite quickly and it doesn’t happen again. My little boy can help me on the farm, he’ll help me feed the pigs and help feed the cows and come on walks through the crops with me so I keep his little legs busy.
