About this deal
The book emphases the importance of overcoming procrastination and taking advantage of the present moment to pursue our goals and dreams. If at all you find it difficult to keep up with things to do but tend to keep on procrastinating, there’s nothing like a short easy-to-read and practical guide like this book! I learnt a lot from this book and intend to use the coaching mentoring guidance tips from this amazing non-fiction author.
He also believes that productivity and personal development is not about working harder or longer, but about working smarter and more efficiently. Use a priority matrix, which involves placing tasks on a matrix based on their level of importance and urgency. Now having said that, I was reminded of a conversation I had back in 2006 when I was writing my first book. Still, I got some new ideas and mindsets I‘m going to play around with, because they seem like they might fit me. Doing it today is not about being overly ambitious or unrealistic, but about taking small steps that when combined lead to big results. In this summary, you’ll find an overview of the central themes and strategies behind the Do it Today philosophy, as well as practical tips and tactics to help you reach your goals.
It is definitly an excellent complement to the book "Self Discipline the Neuroscience" by Ray Clear. Dress them up depending on the weather, visit the farm and harvest seasonal fruits and veg, and cook up a storm for the whole family! The Do it today book can help you overcome procrastination by changing your focus from putting off to taking action right away.
I find some of the lessons worth following and I am sincerely following them for better and greater lifestyle. Biggest plus: This was my „morning read“ and it really motivated me to work on my thesis, be consistent, take breaks and not to overwork myself but still get stuff DONE.
