This isn't A Macy's sale- this is a site for hobbyists and there's nothing more sweeter to our obsessive tongue than vintage nostalgia! The leather/vanilla pairing reminds me a lot of Scentstory 24 Go Dark, which leans heavily on this mix as well. The wood that I feel in it is noble, dry and interesting with each movement as it merges with the bright aroma of Tonka that once again, to my nostrils, refers to a niche perfumery aroma. It lasts for about 7-8 hours on my skin with a projection of the first 2 hours, later it becomes a skin scent.

I compared old (2013) and the new (2016) bottles side by side and i guarantee that, difference between two juices is very little. At first spray, I definitely pick up a combo of sweet notes of sugar, vanilla and caramelized nutmeg. on my skin it opens with an alcoholic whiskey note that progresses into the spices, very well blended and it finishes with a fruity, incense like smell that I attribute to the benzoin + leather combination.Carolina Herrera should once again come up with gems like this instead of their failed decade of releases. If seeking a combination of a wearable boozy, leather and vanilla fragrance then try Le Male Le Essence instead.

It's not a burnt amber like code absolu and it's not a sticky sweet amber like Montblanc legend night. If I had not read the perfume pyramid I would be oblivious to this ingredient, however, with this seed planted in my mind I find something to this effect, sweet, but not sickly, almost like the spice has been roasted in light sugar. I happen to have the old batch and this has great performance compared to the new batches which don't seem to last that long. Azzaro Pour Homme Intense EDP is an excellent, sweet, cinnamon, boozy brandy, resinous amber, tonka, and green vetiver fragrance. This is the perfect way to create a fragrance for all seasons amber and leather for the darker days.

Classic and timeless, yet modern and intoxicating at the same time, they are two fragrances which define elegance, luxury and passion. I'd still wear Le Male Le Parfum over this though, but if you want an alternative to that frag within the same ballpark, CH Prive is a solid choice. It changes to an unbearable stinky smell, something like the public restrooms with flowers air freshener.

This started radiating around an arms length for first hour, then died out to a skin scent for another 8 hours. Please consult your doctor before taking any new product, particularly if you are already under medical care. Top notes are Grass, Bergamot and Grapefruit; middle notes are Woodsy Notes, Nutmeg, Violet, Saffron and Jasmine; base notes are Sugar, Leather, Vanilla, Suede, Amber, Cashmirwood, Sandalwood, Oakmoss and Vetiver. Projection is decent I get around 1-3 hrs at the most, longevity/performance is above average around 8+ hrs. Aromatics tend to be based around grassy-spicy notes, such as lavender and sage, which are frequently combined with sweet or warm accords.Top notes are Whiskey, Grapefruit and Pomelo; middle notes are Cardamom, Lavender, Sage and Red Thyme; base notes are Leather, Tonka Bean, Woody Notes and Benzoin. The hype on this is not real, smells like John Varvatos dark rebel with out the ass juice, and also smells like Salvator ferragamo uomo signature just less spicy or balsamic and, smells like Tom Ford ombré leather. After almost 12 hours I can see the Leather giving a signal and uniting with resinous notes that lessen its spiciness, but still leave it warm, slightly sweet in the background and enveloping like a hug! Overall I would rate this an A for bottle design, A for the opening of the fragrence and a C+ for the dry down.

This is a great scent and I'm not sure why this is getting discontinued to make way for trash like Bad Boy. The urinal kinda feel that I talked about is not there at all in the cold weather and that's the saffron and green scent that in high heat goes bad.

CH Men has become a longstanding success due to its delectable combination of grassy notes, sugar and leather. Guys, if you are suffering from performance issues with this fragrance just double your sprays, I did it and I got 5-6 hours of good longevity and decent projection.
