This chocolate is made with dark chocolate and infused with the flavors of blueberry and acai fruit. But I think this is a great reminder that marketing is clever and tricks us to eating crap, even though we think we’re eating something “good”. This chocolate company pushes the envelope when it comes to creating unique flavors – and this is a great example! Those posts were years old though and the company has since changed the label to specify “gluten free”, so I was really hoping someone with coeliac would post that they eat them often with no problem. I feel like if they come back with the same response I'll have to try and get another opinion, which isn't really ideal.As someone married to a creative cook, I can imagine a cheesecake topped with a vanilla and sourcream topping, with these dotting the top rather than the bland white chocolate chips. They are not the worst because they are disgusting, and they are not even the most unhealthy thing out there. This may be the most asinine piece of advice I’ve ever seen I made a killer gumbo the other day with about 20+ ingredients (Celery, Onions, Bell Peppers, Shrimp, Butter, Flour, Water, Paprika, Garlic, etc…) and I’m pretty sure I could pick quite a few really healthy Chinese ingredients that you couldn’t pronounce.

There were a lot of dried blueberries and a good amount of almonds, but again, I could not detect the Acai berry flavor. The cranberries were sufficiently chewy, as were the blueberries, and both had enough almonds to add even more nice texture.Even if you are not a health food expert or even someone that is very intentional with what you eat, you have perhaps come into contact with the phrase superfood. Not many confectionary companies are sought after by something as legendary as the Hershey Company – this just proves that Brook chocolates are really the best stuff!
