The Hits is the second compilation album, and first wide-released greatest hits album, from American country music artist Garth Brooks, released on December 13, 1994, by Liberty. Garth is a great country singer, this album has most of his popular hits on it and a few from my line dancing days.

The edition of the CD is the Greatest Hits version and it is classified under the Music and CDs categories. As a marketing scheme I think this is pretty cynical, far beyond what most artists do to their own fans.

On November 7, Brooks will release Time Traveler — his 14th studio album, and first since 2020’s Fun — as part of a 7-CD box set that’s the third installment of the country superstar’s The Limited Series.
